**** SOLD ****
Superb Precision bass built to a very impressive standard. It's everything a bass should be, top class components and it's in top class condition.
This is your chance to have your cake and eat it. It's a fretted bass with an additional factory fitted lined fretless neck. Both necks were factory fitted to the same bass body. This gives a lot of flexibility and saves you buying a totally separate fretless bass.
In effect, you're getting a fretted instrument and a fretless instrument for the asking price, that's pretty cool.
I ordered an additional lined fretless neck for it at the time of purchase. You can see the standard fretted neck (matching hedstock) in the pictures and you can also see the lined fretless neck, this cost an additional €450 at the time of purchase to have it fitted to my bass body.
No blemishes at all, these basses cost €1090 to buy and as I say an additional €450 for the fretless neck. So total cost is €1540.
Letting it go for £800 with both necks, will trade for a decent 5 string- 1

"Too Young for a Precision", so weird it's funny Grabs attention (fair play, but will annoy some here for sure)

Genz amp (Shuttle max 12.2 @ 600w x2) played through my barefaced cabs (compact & Super 12). Massive full bodied sound, I've had so many positive comments about the rig.

I have a very nice carbon fibre bow to trade, I'm not sure of the brand but it's in fantastic condition.
I'd be interested in the Genssler Sonores Red Label strings
-
Well photographed man, fair play. lovely bass and ideal for someone with a bad back.

Great price for that "Musicman Stingray" sound, they come very close if my memory serves me correctly.
-
9.1 lbs surely ??
9.1 kgs is one heavy bass, most come in around 4 kgs.
-
Still available ?
-
Is this sold, if not I'll take it

Any interest in a carbon fibre double bass bow
or
Realist double bass pickup ?
-
Interested in the compressor. Have a double bass Graphite bow or Realist pickup to trade ?
-
I'm looking for 1/2" hipshot ultralight tuners, do you have these ?
-
It's a beauty alright, these instruments are so well put together, top notch boutique standard at a very modest price. GLWS
-
Sorry,
One last question:
Does the truss rod work as it should ? -
A few questions:

Can you verify that the neck is straight (some figured necks are prone to twisting).

Are the frets in good condition ?

What size are the tuner holes ?

Is it inch and a half at the nut ?

Is the nut plastic or bone ?

Was it ever on a bass ?
Thanks for your time.
Regards,
Mark -
Does the neck heel fit a Fender neck pocket ? In other words is this neck compatible with a Fender Bass body ?
Many thanks,
Mark -

Keith Roscoe 4 string bass. The Century Signature is the flagship model in the range (not to be confused with the Century Standard), it carries all of the extras, a real work of art.
This is an incredible instrument with the straightest fast neck I've ever played on. Extremely light weight.
Bartolini pre-amp and pickups.
7 piece purple heart neck.
Koa top (absolutely beautiful).
Oval pearl inlays.
Original hard shell case.
Original paperwork signed by Keith Roscoe.
Pics to follow....
I would never sell this instrument only that it has 17.5 mm string spacing, I need 19 mm to be consistent with my other bass. I would entertain trades on a high end Precision, let me know what you have. I know there are bassists here that move between 4 string and 5 string so the 17.5 mm spacing will be right up their alley.

I think the Gen 1 has the single speakon whilst the Gen 2 had a second, I may be wrong.
