  1. I Had a custom made for me by Jon Shuker, it was solid walnut with a walnut burl top, but its heavy. I've also had another Jazz from him made from swamp ash, this had superb sustain and held a note for ages. He's probably the cheapest of all the top luthiers, but you are still looking at about £1500 built to your spec and he's a nice and helpful guy as well. If you go to his website, look at Jazz bass, then gallery, its in the Elite section, top lh side .

  3. This was made by Jon Shuker, top UK luthier. I got this bass at the begining of the year, unfortunately bands and circumstances have changed, so I can let this bass go, I don't have to, but if somebody can give it a good home I will. The pictures attached show it before the line and dots were added and was originally up for sale ar £1500 Spec as follows: 4 string horn fretless bass Neck bolt on, 34" scale double octave mahogany / wenge laminated neck siricote f/board, lined and position dots, 2 way truss rod, ash head veneer , brass nut, satin neck lacquer, gotoh tuners Body white ash body, orange tint and black grain fill satin finish seymour duncan active 4 J pickups ,Seymour duncan eq system, Seymour duncan pots & knobs etc.with mid range boost on stacked voulme pot all from one 9v battery in easy change access block individual bridge units black hardware 19mm string spacing Shuker case which is basically a custom Hiscox Location: Havant, Hampshire Collection only and no silly offers I'm asking £900
