I've had my Mono Vertigo (With a Mono Tick) for years and it's been all over the world and on loads of flights! (Managed to get it in as hand luggage every time!) And it's rock solid still.
Great purchase.

Great price.
I'm trying to sell on a pair of Mackie Thumps. So I would use this for FOH tops.
If I can sell them It may fund this purchase..

Wondering when i can get to try them out. The reviews were good
Be interesting to read. Looking into array system for our band, but struggling to find any info on them.
No pubs, all big venues, halls, gazebos e.t.c

Happy New Year Dand666

Just seen a few on FB come up, but they go so quickly. Think I've managed to get one, now it's just persuading the missus >.<

Had a wedding but I depped it out as it was over a 4hr journey. Will look to see if anything pops up but not holding out!

I depped mine out. Was not that much more than a standard wedding fee and I weren't planning on getting back till like 4am. Sod that. Maybe a year off for me this year!

If I can shift my Orange 4x10 in time then I'll have it. Currently waiting on a monitor and bass amp sale >.<

Was offered an Alto TS112A for about £150. Potential floor monitor? Long as it sounds half decent? However its massive!
Thomann The Box seems really small and ok reviews?
For context we are a wedding band, so venues/audiences change every weekend.

Edit just saw location >.<

Any ideas guys for a decent active floor wedge/monitor?
Could potentially buy a decent top to use as a monitor for now, and use as a Top when needed?
Complete novice here when it comes to PA.
Don't really wanna spend more than £200 for just a monitor on its own.
Happy to go to around £350 max for a single top. Then I'll buy another a few months down the line and I've got myself a set of tops 🙂
TIA

Ignore the “1000 watts” marketing speak. For the most part it means nothing as just about any bargain basement PA speaker these days can claim 1000 peak watts. What’s your budget?
It'' be buying 2nd hand no doubt. Don't really wanna go more than £300 each ideally. But happy to see what's out there around that price.

Whilst we are on this, If you don't mind me hijacking this a little, I'm after some Speakers for my PA. Ideally at least 1000watt each side, or some really really good speakers that are close to that.
Thinking Mackies? or Yamahas?

Look around. I managed to buy the XR 16 for £150.

Man, if you were based down in the south ! >.<

Setlist Maker or BandHelper - Same developer and kind of the same app.
Can do pretty much everything you ever want from it. Its ridiculously powerful.

If It can get under 1k I'll have it!

7!
That's nuts. I was on Princess. So not sure on other liners. But I was in the party band so it maybe a little different. I know they're trying to merge everyone! Chaos.

I've just had to pull one of my bands out of a gig ten days before it would have happened as our guitarist has covid for the second time despite being fully vaccinated. He is most definitely not someone who takes any risks - we have turned a few gigs because he was unhappy about the ability to distance at them.
Why not just dep it out? The FB groups are going crazy at the moment looking for deps as everyone is getting pinged >.<

So last nights venue they did check. But we just brought the flow tests with us and they said it’s fine.
pointless really as they could’ve been old flow tests or not even taken by us!
so yeah a load of bollox really.
