  1. Hi fellow chatters,

for sale or trade is my ibanez promethean 1x10 combo with a heavilly paded case from ibanez themselves (the genuine case built for this amp by ibanez), it has a few cosmetic marks but nothing too bad (you wont notice until you are on top of it) and has two thumbscrews missing at the back of the amp, holds just fine without them but if you wish i think you can get the from thomann. (left them at a gig). other than that the amp seems fine to me has been a good little amp but it is now my backup and doesnt get used as i have a rack case with my amp in and a spare slot to rackmount another head as a backup and this is were the trade option comes in.

    Trade options cash either way:

Micro bass head, rackmountable above 300watts and has to be 4ohm, things like, Eden, Ampeg, Markbass, Genz Benz, GK ect. Will give anything a look aslong as it has these specs

will ship within the UK via courier at your cost, any viewings welcome with a free cuppa on request.

    cash value:£375

    trade value:£400

    Pics up Later

I don't think it's fair to say Warwick's are dropping in value - from my experience I'd say the demand has dropped but the value is still great for a potential buyer.

i soppose your right you dont see many around as much but because their isnt as much demand they are selling cheaper, my bass was £1600 brand new which this would be aswell and for them to be selling at a grand off with a flight case is crazy in comparison to lets say fender basses wich hold there value very well (god knows why they in my opinion are no where near as good as a german made warwick), it wasnt long ago when the asking price for one of these would be around £800 in this condition.

still great bass and rant, over if you get bored of waiting and wish to sell that flightcase i may be interested, pm me.

  4. I have one of these, great basses I paid 600 for mine with a soft case and had to spend 100 on replacing nut and various other things, these are dropping in value faster than a stone hits the ground. WHY? They are so damb good, get one now while their cheap guys because you don't know when the market might change.

  5. Mine is definitely standard paint, and the case has a cream/white lining not red so I have no idea.

And unfortunately he said he would love to but has no more money left and with Christmas around the corner won't have any for a while.
Maybe talk to your local guitar shop they usually will sell your guitar for a fee.

  6. I will speak to my mate at that jam night I go to, chances are he won't be able to afford it as he has just got a new p.a. system for the band but I will do what I can to help. Also mine is painted red not stain do you know if mine is the older or newer model or if you have any info?

  7. i don't know why this hasn't gone yet, must be the current economic climate, does it have a case? if so is it the original one because in really good nick like this someone should have bit your hand off at 550. gota say guys i have owned mine for three years and never ever felt any need to change to any other headless this was by far the best for the money, and just to let people know these are going up in value constantly, you will get your money back on this when you come to sell it as long as you look after it.

  8. Great basses I have one myself I would urge any bassist to get out there and play one of these things, they may be between the cheap and mid range bracket but by god they don't feel like it. Somone played mine at a jam night and said he loved it better than his £2000 g and l and when I told him the going rate he nearly fainted.
