  1. SOLD locally

The clear-out continues. This is a custom Elwood 4A jazz bass in great condition.

Alder body with mildly flamed maple top and back
Fender style neck with string retainer (without the default 0-fret or angled headstock)
    Delano pickups
    Glockenklang 2-band 9V preamp (vol-push/pull active/passive, blend, bass, treble/passive tone control)

  2. SOLD locally.

Like new Sandberg Jazz (California I TT4 - original design).
First owner. In pristine, ungigged condition.
    Full matte finish. Passive (vol-blend-tone)

Selling to reduce my collection. Shipping from The Hague, Netherlands. Original gig-bag included.

  3. I don't know how to describe except it's like a regular piezo but not too trebly - a more even response across a broad frequency spectrum that blends well the sound from the magnetic pickups.
When mixed in with the magnetic pickups, the high-end frequencies are more discernible and give the tone a unique character.

I guess it would be better to make some sound samples than try to describe it with words :) will try and do that ASAP.

  4. *Sold locally*

The collection reduction continues. I received this one recently in a local part-exchange deal. I already have a 60th anniversary P-bass that I want to keep so this one can go.

This is an American Standard Precision in excellent condition (just some minor scuff marks on the back). This is a 2010 model (from the serial number) but has the 2011 60th anniversary neck plate. (The guitardateproject website states "your guitar was made at the Corona Plant (Fender) USA in 2010 or 2011".)

Everything is stock and works as it should except for one minor issue - one of the ferrules for the string-through is a bit loose. It can be affixed easily with some super-glue.

  5. Thanks all!

I have not used the midi in a live situation but have tested it at home with the GR-20 pedal. As a complete midi newbie i found the tracking very good but really haven't spent enough time on it to provide an informed opinion.

a few people have asked for some close up photos of the midi socket and jack input. will add them to the photo album asap.

I bought this here (in a partial trade deal) - it is priced to reflect the original deal value (EUR 2700)

  8. I bought a custom fretless P-bass from Paul and it was a very pleasant experience. due to an unfortunate mistake by the courier collection shop, the shipment was returned to sender. Paul was very patient and sent out the bass again with a re-booking.
Always friendly and prompt in his communication, he is an A+ BC-er! Highly recommended.
