1. I found this Spector manual (un-dated): http://www.musiciansfriend.com/derivates/25/001/434/190/DV040_PDF_Copy_BFA6F1D3-6667-467D-BC29-A7F655BC61C1.pdf

They have listed Aguilar OBP-1 for the Europe series instead of the current TonePump, so I am not sure to which time period this corresponds. The manual states the following in the pickups and preamps page:

"IMPORTANT: As opposed to the EMG
and the Spector Preamp, the Aguilar
design calls for the Bass and Treble
controls as FLAT (no boost) when the
controls are in the FULL
Counterclockwise Position. Most
preamp designs utilize a “center
detent” on the potentiometer which is
their reference point for “flat”"

Perhaps the boost-only attribute of the Aguilar OBP-1 preamp (http://www.aguilaramp.com/products_preamps_obp1.htm) was misconstrued for the TonePump preamp that followed it.

2. I bought a brand new Warwick Vampyre DL from Shep. A totally smooth, quick and pleasant transaction with shipping from UK to The Netherlands. It was a pleasure dealing with him. A trusted and commendable BC forum member. I wish him all the very best!

Was bidding on this one but didn't win it :(

Looks like a good deal for 925.

5. I traded a Spector for a Streamer with Gabor and I couldn't be happier with this international deal. He is very enthusiastic and prompt in his communication. He shipped his bass to me first and it reached me even before I could ship my bass to him. The bass was packed very securely in a new Warwick rock-case and arrived in perfect condition.

There were some delays on my shipping due to my availability and he waited patiently with trust. I totally recommend dealing with him in complete confidence. I would gladly deal again with him and wish him all the very best!

6. Bought a RIM Marseer bass from Loz. It was a most pleasant, smooth, quick and safe transaction with overseas shipping. Couldn't ask for more!

Loz is a great guy to deal with and I would deal again with him with absolute confidence. Totally recommended!

All the best Loz!

Cheers, Vic.

7. I am the current owner of the above bass from Wombatboter and that video played a big part in my buying it!
However, it has Bartolini P-J pups whereas this one on sale has a J-J pups which I would be more partial to.

Kid Charlemagne - Steely Dan
walking on the moon - The Police

fire - Hendrix
signed sealed delivered - Stevie Wonder
graceland - Paul Simon
in france they kiss on the main street - Joni Mitchell
