The real difference is that the mids on the Para Driver are sweepable, from something like 170Hz to 3kHz whereas on the V2 Bass Driver there are just the two frequencies. The V2 also sounded less scooped overall to me when I had one briefly, much more "chunky" sounding imo.

    Thanks Loz

  2. I’d just logged onto here to post a SansAmp or EHX Battalion thread, but I really like the idea of kicking in and out a bit of grit, so the EHX might suit my needs better.

Will be interested in your thoughts after a bit of use..

A fleeting resurrection of this thread to (tentatively!) post some studio recordings, for anyone who might be interested (Yamaha 2024 bass via mic-ed up Orange 4 Stroke). Don't judge my haphazard playing lol - its only so you can hear the amp in a recorded / band setting, as I don't think there are many examples around. :)

I liked that, (the tone and playing/song, cheers).

I've been torn between one of these and the GK Fusion 550.

I used a Les Paul switch plate I had (Treble/Rhythm) just turned it over. Already had the vintage looking knobs. Bought a black jack socket washer and nut from eBay as a pick guard bracket in black. All bought for pence. The pick guard its self came from Jacksinstrumentsupplies.com. Great and easy to deal with. Sent my original and they copied it to spec and returned them both in about a week. Cost was just £29 then I transferred the Epiphone logo from my original. Hope that helps. Andy

    Great stuff, thank you.

Hi all - I recently bought a Casady from Basschats own Mickeyboro. I was surprised at how sweetly it plays. I didn't especially like the amber knobs that come as standard so made a few aesthetic changes by adding a black switch control plate, black jack washer, new knobs and had a new custom pick guard made in black.

    Now looks badass and proud.

Hope you approve. I think these are great value for money.

Looks great, would you mind telling me where you sourced the parts from?

Yes, it will be told once we sure there is no truth in her reporting us to the police! All I can say at this stage is that if anyone is offered a gig around Melksham it might be worth checking with me that you're about to play the gig you'll never forget, for all the wrong reasons!!

Got a feeling I might know that venue ;)
