These go for crazy money, Bargain.

Depends on what mixer really, Some do have built in emulation with bass amps models with HiZ inputs, I'm sure they are designed to be plug and play.

The l2000e had a pre amp and the early l2000 was passive but got discontinued for the Pre amp version.

Still makes me sad the Gibson destruction of the Firebird X because they did not sell, I would have had one if the price was right. They now go for mega money.

Just bought a Jag Bass off Etienne, Great guy to deal and talk too , I’m thrilled with the bass . Thanks Again 😀 Si

Great amps I’ve had a couple in the past, I used a old SWR Henry and a Goliath Snr 6x10 with great results. They like the heavy stuff.

The term “Outfit” , For sale Gibson Les Paul Outfit.
Implying you are getting more than just a mere instrument.

Put a Ad on JMB there will be plenty of people looking like you for a Start/Jam band, FB also have local Band scenes that you can put a Ad on.
Never ask you won't get.

Paypal have started Xoom which on my phone takes over all he other ways to pay and recieve.
Costs more to send and no free way to transfer money with that, I hate change for change sake.

Great Speakers these for the money and you will easily get your money back if you ever need to upgrade.
The blurb on the page is for the 600 but this is the spec-

Both basses hang a bit funny from the strap, I'd try both of them first to see if you can get over that IMO.

I've overtightened the strings and I'm just leaving it for a few days, I don't need much movement so confidant it will work.
I'll let you know. Thanks

Yes the strings where slack when I got it, I’ll over tighten them for a bit and see what happens. Great advice 👍

The neck was in a mess when I got it, The truss rod was maxed out to a convex bow for some reason. Just trying to help it along with some higher tension strings really.
It has got a bit better in a week TBH and has a slight Convex bow now with only a bit of string rattle in the middle.
Thanks for the advice.

Might have got the convex bow bit wrong, it’s a slight forward bow in the middle with the truss rod released. With the Lo Riders on it is flat. Cheers

Got a Yamaha BB Bass with a very slight convex bow thats bordering on flat, The truss rods a one way one and is slack as it can go.
I'm hoping with very high tension strings this will create a bit of a concave bow.
I have Lo Riders on that I've been told are high tension being hex cores but still not enough.
Any Advice? Cheers

We have been hit with a surcharge of £30 per item if it comes out of a container at the moment at work, Nightmare for the small firm with existing orders payed/confirmed. 🤐

R30 Tour Rush at the Manchester MEN, Double kick was so loud hitting the Stadium end and echoing back and killing the sound.
Someone should have Tested for Echo.
Never saw them again after that.

Such a talanted guy and a great band.

Gibson/Epiphone
in General Discussion

I had a Gibson Heritage LP and got a Epi 1960's LP the Epi sounded so close and played better IMO so the Gibson went.
I don't think anyone builds bad these days, My Bass Centre Betsy is such a great bass in sound and playability.
