Im a sucker for anything that looks vintage and for £216 i'm extremely tempted to give it a go. Im guessing you will all tell me i'm mad but if anyones come across these be good to know what they thought!
  3. Hey guys, Anyone come across bassamp.co.uk. You'd think with a URL like that they'd be specialists in good bass gear and good advice, hmmm Check out this Ampeg 'amp' ha http://www.bassamp.co.uk/301-400/ampeg-b410he-bass-amplifier-310-25/

  7. Hey Guys, At home for Christmas and decided I really should move some of my equipment on I have lying around the place! Ok so for sale is my Warwick Rockbass, its 5 string in natural as the description shows! Its in really good condition as I bought it to venture into the world of 5 but really didn't get on with it! The action is really low theres a few nicks but nothing major and all shown in the Photos, don't mind sorting couriers at cost etc although I don't have a hard case to send it in. collection can be from either West Yorkshire or in a week and a bit Liverpool. I'll clean and polish before the sale and even add that g thats missing! Im looking for about £200 for it, but really not sure what these go for these days, think it was around the 400 mark when i bought it , what do people think? Will consider trades as well! 4 strings and Bass heads if its something i want i don't mind doing a part ex on my behalf with the bass and money.

  12. Thanks for messing me around , appreciate it, and then not even having the good grace to message me back saying you sold it in the evening even though you said the head was mine if I could sort a courier which I was going to do yesterday evening but alas you took the easy route when I'm guessing a message came through after mine saying they could pick it up yesterday eve. Great guy to deal with.....,I think not
  13. Hey , Once again in need of amp advice, Looking for another bass head for under £300 and these are the one's that have come up on here and else where. SWR 350 x , Eden WT300 or Marshall DBS 7200 I've currently got a DBS 2x10 1x 15 cab and play a 60 re-issue MIJ Jazz, Audere JZ3 pre on board , Gotoh bridge , Elixir strings, back ups a MIJ Precision. I play real broad range of music so need something versatile with a good level of loudness and punch. I'd just like to know peoples thoughts about the amps mentioned and any other ideas ? I've heard quite a bit about the WT300 over heating which is a bit worrying as one of my previous amps was a Superfly which suffers from the same problem and caught me out doing a Queen tribute theatre show! thank god for my audere pre which meant I could just connect in a DI but was a nightmare, right at the start of Bo rap! ha. Saying that though have heard a great deal of positives for the WT300 aswell. Any help appreciated. there all used amps so quick advice would be best welcome! ha cheers Mike
  14. I meant looking for a new head , not too fussed about the Cab ha!
  15. Hey mate, this still up for grabs? I'm looking for a new head, not too fussed about the head , how much would you want and could we arrange a courier?
  16. Hey Fella, I had a Marquee , really good bass but so bloody heavy my shoulder was knackered by the end of the gig!
  17. Hello wise bass chatters! Looking at getting a new head for my Marshall dbs 2x10,1x15 400watt 4ohm cab Only got £200 at most to spend so secondhand market obv! I currently have a ashdown superfly running on just 1 off the 250 watt outs but need some headroom. Play events of up to 300 people. The contenders are Ampeg b1-re Ashdown abm 300 Peavy tour 450 Any help? Cheers Mike
  18. Hey fella, can only afford £190-200 at a push after the head tho! Any good? Cheers Mike quote name='Superprecise' date='Apr 25 2011, 10:36 AM' post='1210697'] I've only just joined the forum, so I realise I could cast myself in a bad light by immediately posting a sale thread, but here goes (sorry): I have for sale a Trace Elliot AH300-7 bass amp and a matching 1818 (1 x 18") speaker cabinet. It's an huge-sounding setup. I bought it seven years ago so I could go touring with my then band but I went to university instead (I'm still not sure if that was a good idea or not). As such, this head and cab have sat at my parents' house virtually unused for the entire time I've had them, unfortunately, and are therefore in immaculate condition. It sounds great and has been gigged with only once. I'm reluctant to sell, but it's just not seeing the action it should and living in London is too expensive for me to keep it. I probably don't need to harp on too much about the popularity of this kit on a bass forum as, as far as I'm aware, it's very well thought of. Amplifier head: - solid-state - 300w+ output - 7-band equaliser - active and passive inputs - pre-shape 'sub' setting - dual-band compression - backlight £250 ono Speaker cabinet: - huge 18" custom-designed (for TE) Celestion speaker - 8 ohms impedance £200 ono They work excellently together but could equally by coupled with other similarly powered heads/cabinets. The cab could of course be paired with another for massive, dragon-slaying volume. They are both covered in Trace's trademark dark green carpet, which is unspoiled and bobble free. Collection only (from Gerrards Cross - easily got to from London by car or train) if anyone's interested, unless you want to arrange for a courier to pick it up at your own expense. If you're interested please contact me (how does that work on Basschat... PMs?) Thanks a lot, Josh [/quote]
  19. Hey fella on the off chance do you still have the cabs? Or a cab be interested in making a offer!
