This won't hang around long at that price.
+1 for a brillaint bass at a really silly price (if I didn't already have one I'd bite your arm off at the elbow). -
Where you based James?

My main gigging bass at the moment is a natural VM Jazz which I had a set of EMG X pickups installed and a battery box fitted in the back. There's a few minor finish flaws on the neck but only very minor (a bit of a side dot is missing and you can feel the join with the strip down the back of the neck). But it's a mass produced bass that I bought mail order and for the money I love it. It plays great, sounds great with the EMGs and if anything happened to it cheap to replace. I personally wouldn't want to take a £1300 American jazz to some of the pubs I play at.
I'm currently looking at getting the Deluxe V active jazz bass as I want an active 5 string jazz with full size jazz body, jazz string spacing and 4+1 tuners on a traditional style headstock. The Deluxe ticks all the boxes and the price tag doesn't scare the wife. -

Would you sell for £150 delivered?

Hi mate
Sorry, thats less than half the price of a new one and this is as new apart from the tiny tarnish on the scratchplate. I'd rather not sell it if I can't get what I'm asking for it.
Thanks anyway though -
I've played a few cozy places, sometimes it's quite nice but sometimes not so. We played at a place on Friday that was very cozy and had a pillar infront of me but it was probably the best gig we've had in ages because the of the punters (I'm behind the camera in the pic).
One place we gigged last year we had to set up in the corner next to the door to the toilets. Everytime someone went to use them I had to lift my neck like a toll barrier to let them through. -

I'm seriously tempted by the bass as I've been looking for a nice 5 string jazzer. I'm a bit concerned about the space between the pickup and neck being smaller than my regular jazz due to the 24 fret neck and how that would affect my technique. Could you tell me what the measurement is between the two?
I've also read the body is slightly smaller than a usual jazz body? It might also be because of the neck and no pickguard but is the spacing between the two pickups wider than normal?
I really wish I lived closer so I could come look and play. -
Haha worht a try

Dear lord I want this!
Can I trade you any of my vital organs plus cash? -
Evening
Since downsizing my rig to just my ABM RC head I now have a 4U Warwick rockcase surplus to requirements.
It's in really good condition except for some cosmetic marks and scrapes, mostly to the top. The frame, corners, latches, handle, feet etc are all in top nick and 100% working. I don't have the key for the locks but I'm pretty sure it's the same key you get with all these types of locks on cases.
SOLD
Cheers

Yep, another ABM lover here.
Been gigging my EVO III RC for nearly a year now through an Ashdown ABM 2x10 & 1x15 and love the sound I get from it. Had a brief relationship with the MiBass but it just wasn't the same so sent it back. I love the clean tone I get from it and love using the tube pre at about 2 o'clock for the rockier tracks. In my band we've started doing Rhianna's S&M and the sub harmonics on full sound wicked in that track.
