1. Hi all, looking to sell a Squier VM Jazz (maple, Fender-designed pickups, 4 string) that hasn't been seeing any use. It's in excellent (perfect as far as I can see) condition and the only difference from when I bought it is that I set up Dimarzio clip locks on it, replacing the original screws for straps. These have been kept and can be sent along with the bass. It is being sold with the DiMarzio clip lock + strap attached, inside a lightweight Fender bass sleeve. Can be delivered in the Glasgow area (+10 miles ish) or sent via a courier of your choice (+ cost of delivery). Any questions or if you need any photos, please ask Andy
2. Hi all, sorry for not updating the status of this thread, I've been debating whether to sell the bass or not. The VM P-bass is ON SALE, so if you are interested or if you previously contacted me about buying and are still interested then please get in touch and I will sell on a first come first served basis - with apologies to anyone who I didn't get back to before! Pricewise I'm still asking for £150 collected or £170 delivered. Thanks Andrew
3. Hi, pretty much as the title asks, can I use an Ashdown MAG300 Evo ii head to record DI without a cab connected? Or if not, are there any other options for getting the DI tone of the amp without putting sound out of the cab? Cheers
4. Bump, bass comes with a lightweight bag/sleeve and strap.
5. A little bump for a small price drop, looking to sell reasonably quickly.
6. That's a great looking and sounding bass but not what I'm looking for really, thanks for the interest and good luck with your sale/trade
7. Hi, looking to sell my Squier VM Precision in amber with maple fretboard. I bought it new about two years ago, it's been used fairly frequently at home but has rarely left home. It's in great condition with no marks or scratches that I can see and no issues with frets, intonation, tuners, action, etc. I'm selling to switch back to a jazz bass after a few years with this one. Looking for £170 including P&P, or £150 collected from Glasgow, or I can deliver within a 40 mile radius. I've sold on here once before, a Squier CV Jazz to Cetera that you'll find a link to in my profile. Sadly I forgot to leave him feedback so never received any back! Any questions or if you'd like more photos just let me know. Thanks, Andrew (Why doesn't this tablet have a return button??? Apologies for text layout)
8. Photos of the scuffs on the underside of the bass
9.
how close does the sound get to, ya'know..... what instrument looks like? and hows the neck?
I've never played a real Stringray so I'm afraid I can't make a comparison! Neck-wise construction is good, frets and fretboard seem to be in good condition. The bass I'm currently using most (and sadly selling also - see my CV jazz bass post) has a much lower action and since playing that regularly I find the action on the EST96 to be a little high, but that should be easily adjustable if you know what you're doing. Regards, Andrew
10. I'd prefer not to be selling this bass at all but sadly I could do with the money! RE scratches, I've had a look over and the only imperfections I can see are some light surface scratches on the back edge of the bridge end of the bass. This is from keeping it standing upright on the hard wood floor in a corner! I'll photo them tomorrow and post if you like, aside from that no scratches at all Andrew
11. BUMP for another price drop, looking for quick sale!
12. BUMP: for price drop and photos (finally!) added. Cheers.
13. For sale: my Vintage EST96 bass. I've had this as my main bass for around 3 years, however I'm raising money to eventually buy a new car. It's in good working condition and has a thick punchy tone. Cosmetically it has a few minor scratches, but those are only visible when looking closely for them. The new EST96's are active, this is one of the original passive series. The passive version is currently only available in Black for £220: http://www.fretmusic.co.uk/Vintage_EST96_Bass_Guitar.html The active version can be found in Sunburst for £230: http://www.heybrookmusic.co.uk/vintage-est...source=googleps The only issue with it is that the 2 tone controls don't seem to respond and so tone is set on full, but that never bothered me even when gigging so I've just left it like that. Probably could be sorted with a quick bit of soldering but I prefer to leave electronics alone. Volume control works fine. For the bass I'm looking for £60, and it can be collected from Glasgow. Alternatively I can deliver it for £80. If you have any questions or want more photos just let me know Thanks, Andrew
14. For sale: my Squier CV Jazz Bass, white body with tort scratchplate. I've had the bass for about a year and I'm selling it to go towards buying a car. It's in great condition, hasn't left the flat and has a nice fast, smooth neck. I'm looking for £160 collected from Glasgow (cash) or £180 delivered (Paypal or cheque preferred). I've now attached a couple of photos below, if you have any questions just let me know Thanks, Andrew
