Phil Jones Super Flightcase BG-300 Bass Combo, 250w RMS, Neo Power

The Phil Jones Bass Super Flightcase is a great amp for double bass and bass guitar. Many players using the BG 300 for double bass gigs then find out that it also works great for bass guitar gigs just more compact and lightweight. This has incredible power and clarity in a small, lightweight package. Sparkling high frequencies and transparent mid-range emanate all over the stage as well as to the audience allowing the player to voice his sound to everyone with clarity and precision.

This has only been used for rehearsals and practice, never seriously gigged.

Rare and beautifully made Mensinger hollow body lightweight short-scale fretless bass with Eye Poplar finish and fretless Ebony fingerboard. Very nicely constructed and very light at around 3.2kg. This has had very little use (occasional home use) and is therefore in near mint condition.

The current price for this to be custom built to this spec by Mensinger is around £1600, so this is a bargain.

The bass comes with a Mensinger gig bag, Schaller strap-locks, and is fitted with flat-wound strings.

The StingRay Short Scale bass has the great StingRay sound shrunk down into a 30” scale length package. It features passive electronics with a powerful neodymium humbucker, providing comfort without sacrificing performance. A push volume boost and 3-way rotary switch, offering parallel, true single coil, and series modes, provides a versatile array of tonal options.

The shortened distance between the nut and saddles lends this model a tighter and lighter playing feel, pushing the frets closer together and lowering the string tension. The four-string StingRay is great for bassists with a smaller frame and will also serve as a comfy transition instrument for guitarists.

This is in pretty much mint condition since its only use has been the occasional rehearsal since I purchased it new. Currently the new price is around £750.00. Bought this on this site about a year ago from Sharkfinger.

This bass is very lightweight at just under 3Kgs and medium scale. It has a natural body (alder or basswood) and satin neck.  Headstock has a dark wood veneer. There’s a very small bit of buckle rash on the back. Pickups are probably the original ceramic. All passive controls are volume, blend and tone. It has standard BBoT bridge and 38mm nut width.

Would prefer pickup from Farnham, Surrey, but can ship for another £20.00

I got these a couple of years ago for a project, but ended up selling the bass instead. So the pegs were never actually used and are therefore mint in the original package (except for the one I removed for photographing).

I got this a couple of years ago for my Epiphone Rumblekat bass, but ended up selling the bass and moving on. So the bridge was never actually used and is therefore mint.

Among other things this bridge makes the bass easier to set up. You can adjust individual string height for example and more easily correct intonation. Also, no more losing the string saddle when you break a string on a gig.

It has Chrome finish with two sets of bolts. It fits a large range of Gibson and Epiphone basses that have the 3 point bridge.

The Spector Shorty was originally designed for Garry Tallent of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. These are among the nicest short scale basses you can buy. And this one is especially so with the dark quilted maple body.

Mouse 30 Walnut Fretted Short Scale Bass.

According to Kiesel, in reply to my inquiry,  no work would be required to change to a B - G setup.

I don't have any sounds to indicate the low B. However if you have a look at this clip from around 8:20, there is some discussion about this.
