Hello Guys, I have to put on sale this beauty due to my business which is not as good as before. I bought it from Clarky (a very nice gentleman ) few weeks ago. It is in flawless condition with a gorgeous ebony fingerboard (very nice stripes on it). Traditionnal construction mahogany, american walnut facing, 2004. The fretless tones are just the best I have ever heard, like an old cello, it sings ! £2500 I live in Paris but I come in London 2 or 3 times per month. Cheers !

I was the original owner before Rasta, this bass is truly amazing and extremely rare in this natural version. When I sold it Jonas himself wanted to buy it ! If I didn't already bought a Wal fretless few days ago I would buy it again right now !!

Designed in 1984 by Jonas Hellborg himself for Melody Guitars (closed 20 years ago). This bass is extremely rare, especially with this natural finish. Features : Neck-thru Mapple body and neck Rosewood fingerboard 27 fret fingerboard (Yes! 27!!) Shadow humbucking pick ups with 3-position switches for selecting humbucking - single coil - out of phase String holder on the back side of the body : to release tension from tailpiece which gives maximum sustain. Panpot between bass and treble pick up makes it possible to set the balance and change the volume maintaining the sound. All passive, this increadible bass sounds with fantastics mediums and huge attack. The 27 frets allow great melodic possibilities. Perfectly set, very low action with a brand new very light gauge string (30-90 GHS bass boomer). Very good condition, some very light wear due to its age, and a rub mark on the edge where the arm rests.
