3. Hi, We have vocal, mandolin, fiddle and banjo. Looking for a double bass (acoustic sorry no EUB) player to complete the line up. Currently getting together once a week looking to gig once a month when ready. We have our own bose PA and recording gear. I have a sound engineering background and take care of the organising. We a friendly bunch, a hobby band looking to gig when we are a bit more polished. Age of band members is 37,41 and 54 so far, not worried if you are older or younger though We have a festival to play in October as an option if we are ready. Influences are Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, Sierra Hull, The Steeldrivers and Dierks Bently. We practice at my place in Ilfracombe (North Devon) Monday nights at 8pm
 4.
Breaks my heart to do this, but ill have to put this up for sale. This is an incredible instrument, its a bonafide double bass (not EUB or Czceh ease type) that looks/sounds/feels/plays great and isnt a compromise when touring. This bass will also fold up into itself and allow you to travel and tour without overweight/outsize fees and will not get damaged. Heres the site- http://foldingbass.com/ You really have to see/hear and play it to believe it. It amplifies really well (better than my 100 year old Mittenvald annoyingly) and would make a great all round bass. For the price, its so much more accomplished than the Stentor's and similar instruments. £1900 with soft and hard case, new spirocore strings and Fishman Full Circle fitted.
This bass has been sold
