    Ive had one of these for a few years . Liked the way it felt -- better than most of the real warwicks -- and could get a good sound at home .But on stage was always too much top or too much bottom . Mine was from thomann and was actually "slightly" active . First I knew about it was when it stopped working after a year and I found a battery in it !!!. When I say slightly active it seemed to be a tone circuit only -- virtually no boost . Eventually I decided I would get rid of the warwick stuff and put a fender p bass pick up in it . ---- What a difference --. now has a really even sound with lots of p bass punch !!

    Ive got a rockbass streamer that plays very nicely . better than many of the real Warwicks I have used , but the active pups just dont seem to have a happy medium -- all bottom or all top . Ive tried running them passive and its better but still not right . I was thinking of using a passive humbucker (which Ive been happy with on other basses) . just wondered if anybody else had tried this before I start chewing holes and what the outcome was ? . Or has anybody found a good replacement for the split neck pup that would fit ?

    Apologies --- the extra cab has a E V driver --not an eminence Not that anybobys interested !!!

    Good reliable workhorse -- you all know this combo its one of the originals 300 W amp with rear ported 15 speaker --- carpet covered and in pretty good nick -- all the knobs are there and all working . Also an eminence 15 inch in an unfinished box . Thrown together quickly Im afraid just to give the driver a home !!! Its about the same size as the combos speaker -- If it were exactly the same size that would be plagiarism !!! £200 for the pair -- open to offers or tempt me to px for a nice bass North Lincs based

    A bit noisy by todays standards ---- I still have a bass baby 150 w as backup --- works ok has plenty of welly and somebody in the midlands supplies all parts . i can probably find contact details if you need them
