booboo

I found the PU's on my AVRI P a bit boomy also -particularly on the e-string. Swapped them for SD AntiquityII's and it tightened things up down the bottom without losing any "thump". There was a reason I went for the II's rather than the Antiquity 1, but I honestly can't remember now. I'd be interested to compare with the wizard and nordstrand vintage repro PU's but I'm not made of money and the SD's are doing fine.

I've got heavy (Jamerson) Labbella flats on my P-bass, and TI (super floppy) flats on my jazz. Sound-wise I am a happy bunny, but these strings are such polar opposites that when I change between the two basses there seems to be an awkward time while my fingers/brain make the nessecary adjustments. Do Ineed to find a "compromise" string to use on both basses or do you think I just need to change my technique? Thanks in advance for any advice.
