Thank you, but i think i wanted to know how it sounds;)

Is it more like alder, or swamp ash, etc.

But i already have an answer from the owner.

    Hi.
first thanks to @Elgueddfor thr post.

I found it to be similar to ash soundwise.
typical 70s sound, rich, powerful, cuts through.

yet it has the positive side not to break your neck since being very light.

you can listen to the sounclips on my soundcloud channel posted above 😀👍🏻

  5. Price: 3500 euro

    Hello,

After give it a try for quite some time I've decided to put on sale my fantastic Fbass (Furlanetto) VF PJ 5 sting.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the bass, it's a fantastic instrument yet as much as I love it I'm always leaning towards a J J pickup configuration. The bass has some marks on the body otherwise it's perfect. Massive sound.

    Specs are:

    - made in 2017
    - East Indian Rosewood fingerboard,
    - Ash & Alder body,
    - Koa pickguard with reinforcement plate,
    - Fbass Preamp,
    - Aguilar P/J-HC pickups,
    - around 4,3 kg
    - original Fbass bag

Tradewise: I'm looking EXCLUSIVELY for an Alleva Coppolo 5 sting jazz bass + cash from my side. I might be tepted with other 5 string boutique jazz basses (i.e. Mike Lull or such...). Feel free to write me a message, the worst it could happen is that I say "no, thanks".

    Thanks for looking

    Fbass. It sounds alive.

    Yes.

i was a sadowsky player for 15+ years and I’ll always say that are amazing basses yet I do tend go hear that their preamp has a very agressive imprint on the sound (which can be liked or not)… afrer all this years, and afrer trying the Fbass one I would also say that it sounds more “organic” or alive..
