1.
A long long time ago, in a little workshop around the back of Hastings, I used to make them Oh what fun we had Might have even made that one GLWTS John
If you want it back - you know who to contact ...
 2. There is a link with the official garb here: http://www.spectorbass.com/about/model_years_3.html
 3.
You can bump the existing ad...
I thought only one bump is allowed ... good news if this is not so. Best, Andrew
 4.
Aright, two Q's, will this fit in the standard Spector hardcase and are you accepting trades/part exchanges?
First, no idea. But could measure the bass if you want me to. Second, only interested in a sale. Best, Andrew

 6.
You've won the Lottery in Nigeria?! Congrats!
You have, too. I have listened and updated the ad. Enjoy the show. 7. Howdy, (1) Thanks for all who responded. I appreciate the input and have read through the whole thread again. (2) I have got better pictures and I am flexible on price. Once again - what is wrong with requesting them if you are interested? The rules on here have always seemed very strict and I never know what I can or cannot do. (3) Gumtree is now based in Poland. I have sold stuff on there in the past (only one musical instrument, an Ovation type guitar I had since the Eighties) but now I cannot even advertise there. I suppose if you have more than one item for sale you are barred now ... It attracts very odd spammers anyway. Ones who cannot spell or speak English. (4) It looks like I am accused of xenophobia. If you knew my background you would laugh with me. However, I am not going to fall for dubious "customers" from Eastern Europe or - for that matter - emails telling me I won the lottery in Nigeria. Best, Andrew
 8.
(don't be offended but everyone here knows who played and plays Rickenbackers) Some BCers could even tell you the name of the worker who sanded your instrument, providing a serial number And since we are a bunch of inquisitive old hags we want to know for sure what you mean with "the bass hes been serviced"
In which case you can always ask. The only PMs I get is from Lithuanians. Anyway, I do not want to give the serial number here because someone is gonna put a fake number on a recently made Chinese fake. Best, Andrew
 9. Thanks to all who have responded for now. I have to go. Contact details below. Best, Andrew
 10. Thank you. Reason for selling: it has been hanging off my wall for more than ten years unplayed since I am a guitarist. Best, Andrew
 11.
Loads of basses are sold on this site (I am up to 7 pages of feedback which tells you how many I have bought/sold). To be blunt, if your basses aren't selling, you have either mis-priced or are not trying hard enough! I haven't seen your ads (I'm not in the market right now) but good quality pics help as do sound clips if you can generate them. Also being flexible (offering trade options, p/x, staggered payments etc) Best of luck
I do not understand how to flexible helps if people do not even respond. But thanks for your input.
 12.
Yes.
Great. All I have had is stupid messages from Eastern Europeans, general time wasters and people saying how lovely they are.
 13. Howdy, I have got two basses which I have (admittedly half-heartedly) advertised for months. Has anyone ever sold a bass here (?) Is anyone aware of sites - apart from feeBay - which actually sell. Many thanks, Andrew
