Hi Bass Fellows,
i just have got from an auction this P-Bass Type: Bill Lawrence Prizma2/Model Black ´62.
The Instrument looks very battered but nothing disturbing the playability, IMO a nice vintage P-Bass Sound. Although I am now playing a long time i have never seen such an Instrument. I only know that Bill Lawrence lived formerly in Germany (as I do) and worked with Framus as Billy Lorento, later nearly same time as Seymour Duncan in the 70ies he started with high class Pickups production.
My Question:
Does anyone of you have Information about that Prizma Bass? About Quality and where they were build.How much was the price back then in the 80´s? I have looked in the www, but havent found reliable info.
