Can you make some metal pins, possibly screws with the head cut off and a point filed in its place, to screw into the neck holes, then lower the neck into position to mark the neck pocket.
Then drill a pilot hole through from the pocket. -
I purchased an amp from Paul, great communication, as discribed, dispatched quickly, very well packed.
I would deal with Paul again. -
If it is just a 1/4 jack socket, it is probably to switch the preset and the graphic on and off.
There have been a few on eBay recently, they might be still available. -
Here is the standard schematic, it may be of help.
I think the neck pickup C+D is a typo.

Don't you want me baby?
Do you know the way to San Jose?
Is this the way to Amarillo? -

Some old pics on the Warwick forum of my F1 before I changed the electrics
You need to scroll down a bit ;-) -
Nice collection of Fortress'
I think the 2-Tec bridge was standard on the Flashback originally, the standard 2 piece bridge/tailpiece was used on later custom shop built Flashbacks(I'm going from memory so forgive me if I'm wrong)
I have a 97 Fortress one in red high polish stain with a maple neck, I replaced the stock electrics with EMG pickups and an Aguilar OBP 3 preamp. -
Do you have the passive Dynamic Correction MEC pickups?
I and several people on the Warwick forum found them underwhelming, I replaced mine with active EMGs, which I think improved things. One of the other Warwick forum members used passive Barts and felt it transformed the bass.
As previously suggested, get the setup correct first, pickup to string clearance can affect your tone. -
I play a Warwick 4 string bass, I tried a BN Warwick at The LBGS a few years ago and found the standard wide string spacing to be easy to use.I guess going from a Warwick 5 to BN is more of a jump but you will soon adapt.

Squeeze the string with pliers or a vice, or find some taperwound strings.
-
Very nice, I always liked the Buzzard shape.
-
Warwick describe the Streamer standard pickups as vintage style humbuckers.
I would think that you are correct with white hot braid ground, this is how it is on MEC passive J pickups.
This is the wiring schematic

The B3K is very good but the TK421-X just has so much more
-
Early Corvette Standards had Corvette Proline truss rod covers.
-
This has come up a few times on the Warwick forum, I think people use tapered strings, file the string slots out or compress the string with a vice or hammer to get it to fit.
-
I think it is probably Warwick's coloured oil finish which is a satin lacquer.
This seals the wood, Warwick recommend cleaning with a slightly damp cloth and that wax treatment is not advisable. -
Bought a Warwick electrics cover from Mick, good communication, super fast delivery, great item, I would happily deal with Mick again.
-
I purchased a pickup from Richard, all as discribed, packaged well and dispatched quickly.
A super chap to deal with :-) -
As stated above, you can use EMG pickups with other manufactures pre amps.I have active EMG P/J in my Fortress One with an Aguilar OBP-3.
-
MEC active pickups have a gold MEC logo and passive have a silver logo plus dynamic correction written on then.
Relief and Action height - what do you use?

Fret at 1st and 12th with string just clearing the 8th fret for relief,
1.5-2.0 mm clearance on G string at 12th fret and 2.0-2.5 mm on E string.
