Squier JV series Jazz bass in Olympic white finish, relatively nice condition for its age (made in Japan in early 1984), some dings and marks typical for the age, but not so many of them comparatively to the similar basses for sale in the last couple of months. I believe it was imported from Japan in December last year, that's when I've bought it from the importer as a back up while my main fretted bass is in repair. Very nice for the budget I must say! But my main fretted is coming back from the repair soon and anyway I was lucky to borrow a gorgeous Precision Elite I from another BC'er (thanks Denis!), so this JV Jazz don't get any use in last couple of weeks.
Everything is original as far as I know with the only exception of the frets - I've re-fretted it when I've bought it (nicely done job by a local luthier/technician).
Everything is fully functional, no issues, the truss rod (single action) functions well, the neck is straight, this bass definitely delivers! I've read the opinions that 1984 differs in quality from 1982-1983, I had no chance to test the early versions, but IMHO this might be not true as this bass is perfect in its simplicity.

The price is EUR 815.00 which is accordingly GBP 600.00, this includes shipping to to the UK or anywhere in EU (with the neck removed; that's the way it was shipped to me, without any HSC or gig bag; I will pack properly and insure it).

Got a question on the weight, can't weigh it very accurately, but the outcome of two scales used - a bath kind of scale and kind of "pendant mechanic" (not sure how it's correctly called in English) - around 4.5-4.6 kg or 10 lbs.
