Another Beringer user here, great microphones, especially for the price!

RIP :-(

I have four MIM basses and happy with all of them. I have changed the bridges and pickups, but that was a personal taste thing rather than a necessity. You should try before buying, but would suggest that is the case with any instrument.

They sure look pretty! I just hope they are as good as they look!

After reading a Bass Player pickup shoot up, I plumped for the Seymour Duncan Hot pickups, as they said they were slightly hotter than standard but still sounded like a Jazz bass should. I have since installed them on all of my Jazz basses I liked them so much!
The same review highly rated the Antiquity pickups as well, especially for a fretless. -
3 Jazz basses (one main bass, one backup, one 'cos it is really pretty!)
1 Precision bass (just because you should!)
1 acoustic bass (for those quieter moments!)
Might get one more down the line, but fortunately GAS free at the moment! -
I have done exactly this to one of my Jazz basses with no problems at all. The Gotoh coped okay and the truss rod only needed a slight adjustment to keep the same neck relief.

I'll get it as well. Scar Tissue was an excellent read, so reading Flea's version will be very interesting. And more bass too!

One of our guitarists has used one for years and it has always sounded perfectly good to me, in fact an improvement over the Dunlop he had before that crackled and popped all the time.

PM'd!

And done.

My first Jazz standard. I now have two others, but I always pick up the first one. It just feels so right under the hands and the tone is exactly what I want.

Yay, a win!

If those new pictures turn out geniunely his, is that going to cause a problem for those who have bid on this?

MIM fenders are a mixed bag and always have been and I own four!. Some are fantastic and some are awful. If you can, you really should to try it out before buying it. The issue on the bad ones I have tried tend to be gaps around the neck joint and poor fret ends.

That Coronado looks the mutts!

Is my technique awful or does that session guys wrist look very 'off angle'?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. And I can't understand demoing a five string without playing the B string much!
