    Yes sorry i meant 0.12" not mm, There's not much to adjusting the truss rod just don't force anything if its too tight. a slight adjustment can make a world of difference. Theres a good video here , its worth a try .

    Have You Adjusted the truss rod to Approx 012m at the 7th Fret , string gauge and tension will also affect adjustment if youve changed them?

    Epiphone EB3 SG Bass in lovely cherry red finish This is the long scale version 34" scale no dings or noticeable scratches or gouges looks and plays great , DIY mirrored scratch plate (can be removed) i prefer the look of the bass without a pickguard. This has also been fitted with a strap button adapter This balances the bass perfectly and eliminates the notorious Epiphone/ Gibson neck dive this too can be removed if preferred, but it does make the bass much more comfortable to play The Rosewood fretboard has been stained to look like ebony(looks much nicer)see the difference in the pictures. Only selling due to upgrading to a new Gibson Model. unfortunately i don't have a spare case for this so would prefer pick up.from Cambs pe285ap i would consider a trade or PX for a solid body short scale , Any thing considered except Gibson or epiphone as i already have a EB3 short scale.

    A Used Ibanez from the 80's eg Musician , Roadstar etc they were great basses back in the 80's sure there must be some lefties out there>

    Hi is your bass Active / passive if so is there any change in volume between the two. is it the same issue with both basses? Try the simple things first . try a different lead, try another battery although you say its new there are sometimes faulty batches sold, are you using standard 9volt or rechargable 9volt. Have you tried a different bass through your amp. it looks most likely a wiring issue either pickups , or on board pre amp , check all the soldered joints on the pots and any preamp boards.

    I would also advise the use of a High Pass Filter at the sort of levels you are playing this eliminates all the sub bass energy that your speakers are trying to handle and you cant actually hear. Set around 40 Hz shgould be fine, but to get full power you will need another 8Ohm cab to go with the combo. i use the Rumble Stage 800 for a backline and rarely go above 12 o clock on the volume and often dont need much through the PA, if i need the extra power for a large gig i have another rumble 2x 10 cab i can use. i use a Broughton Hi pass filter to stop all the unwanted speaker flap etc.

    This is a Precision / jazz bass made up of various Fender and non Fender parts. **NOW SOLD** Body is a Artist royal blue sparkle p/j Bass A custom made mirror pickguard. The neck is a generic Fender copy with Block markers and a fender logo . The Machine heads are genuine Fender from a Vintera Telecaster bass The pickups are genuine Fender yosimite pickups from a Fender Japan Aerodyne bass. This bass is 9 volt Active / Passive via a pull push pot, sounds great in either mode. looks , sounds and plays great . i built this bass for a Glam Rock show which unfortunately never materialized. has had a pro set up and is ready to gig. no case so pickup only. from cambs pe285ap. i would consider postage including a used hard case in good condition plus postage and insurance for £375

    Yea previous owner cut it out to fit a pull bar . still prefer the look minus scratchplate. this bass suffered from serious neck dive due the long scale, i made an adaptor as i did with my spirit headless. its made from a pinch spanner, completely cures the neck dive and can be removed if needed.

    Epiphone EB3 long scale Stained fretboard . i have adapted the front strap button to cure the neck dive .il post a picture later looks much better without the scratchplate.
