seemed meths was the way to go from the thread i started! my stingray came with DRs on it about 6 months ago and im still rocking them now! not tried the meths trick yet though.

if i had the money id be all over this!

bought digitech pre amp from mike. very easy to deal with, great communications and an easy quick transaction!!

that is a pretty interesting concept, i wonder if it would feel a little strange?

im not the most clued up player with technical stuff but im just looking at getting the most out of a set of strings and ive come across people who boil their strings?

is this worth doing? does it give much of an extended lifespan? or can it damage my bass?

if anyone knows anything about this, would really appreciate your help!!

so! i have some share money coming in and im gonna buy a stingray but now im in a flat, i need a decent amp that i could hook up to my ipod and some headphones
so what i need to know is, what amps are good that fit that , and also what headphones!!
