Dirty Thieving Scum.. the above is my pedalboard AND on visiting the store, there sat on a shelf was my amp. so I am a happy bunny now. I have my stuff back!

Police are arresting the kid who brought the stuff in today.

  2. Thanks everyone for your comments.. It is a really bad experience but I am so glad I took out specific insurance for my gear. I have since discovered that neither my home insurance OR car insurance would have covered me!! My advice is to always check that your gear is sufficiently covered - you never know when you might need it! Didnt cover my GT10b in time tho so I've lost out on that, and I'm going to be paying £35 per month for the next 8 months for nothing!

  3. Hi

I am needing a new head to go on my Ashdown ABM 410t and 115, I cant decide between the two I have narrowed down..

I am liking what I hear about Orange's tone but there's the lack of EQ however I like the simplicity but the Kilo has loads of stuff built in and is Hartke, which I have used before and really rated the LH1000..Just can't decide which one would be the better!

    Any thoughts??

  4. Hi

Unfortunately after a gig last week my car was broken into. The thieving scum stole my Hartke LH1000 head in a 3u flightcase and brand new GT10b which I am still paying off!! Luckily the head is covered by insurance but the GT10B wasn't so I'm £350 down. They left my two cabs tho.

So if anyone sees any of these two items being offered for sale anywhere please bear me in mind!

  5. Now I like the jetglo but I also like the fireglo.. but which one is best? Theres only one way to find out..... FIGHT!!

I'd like to think I prefer the fireglo but before I end up buying one I'd like to know peoples opinion.. which one do you prefer??

  6. I've just read this thread and it has inspired me to go out, buy a .35 C string and re string my MM SR5 as EADGC - my band play in drop D so I have always tuned ADADG. The new tuning is awesome!! I wish I had done it sooner.. I am making use of all strings now as before I was ignoring the low A string. I can get some real melodic lines using that C. By the way so far I have had no issues with the nut or truss rod.
