  1. Apologies for going slightly off track, but its a bump i guess. I wouldnt say the Cora is plain, i could stare at that wood for ages, mine is painted so no wood on show.
Id like the action reduced on mine which ive tried using the 3d bridge but is a real fiddle, i think a truss tweak is needed (im no techie)for a bass of this calibre.' Would Barrie @ Bass gear be the best man for knowledgably adjusting mine ya think?

    Cheers

  2. A stunning bass and it's a crime one has to keep reducing the price. These really are worth every penny.
Mine is extremely flexible so I'm never stumped to get a sound but it's killed my GAS activities which I miss terrible.
I sold everything I had to buy this one bass and now I can no longer swap & change, haggle & chat anymore.
    I miss GAS.

Have a great big bump from me.

  3. I've not long joined the Ritter club and if you have an opportunity to play one then please do so, even better buy this one.
I've heard respected bass outlets rubbish them as all about looks and not very good basses. I know, I was flabergasted too!!
These instruments are displayed at The Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC alongside legendary Stradivarius ' Greffuhle ' , Amati ' King Louis XIV ' and other instruments that were and are the very pinnacle of instrument making .

Try one and try all ways to buy one. They are rediculously good whichever angle you want to think about them.

Have a bump Julius, I hope you get your sale and maybe manage to get another someday ;-)

    All the best for 2016

  4. I've just completed my biggest and most valuable trade deal with Stavros.
He's a superb trader and is very knowledgable. Issues were quickly sorted thanks to his willingness to be flexible. He's a credit to Basschat and to bass trading in general. A thoroughly nice bloke who you'll be glad you traded with. Despite the distance between the UK and beautiful Greece, the logistics are simply not a problem. He even managed to get a guitar to me before I was aware it had left Greece, I'm still not sure how he did that. I'm delighted that I've not only got an amazing and unique Ritter bass but that I've made a good friend.
Thanks very much Stavros, be sure to keep in touch.
    One of the best
    Cheers

  5. I've recently taken delivery of the Black Marble Classic 5 string from Bassmachine.
It's an absolutely fantastic instrument. How Jens Ritter takes care of the musicians wants and needs while keeping the aesthetic standard so high is genius in my humble opinion. Absolutely the best bass I've ever played and owned. I've got a big birthday an 5-6 yrs so I think I'm going to save up and get this beauty a partner in the style of a Ritter Raptor ( finish to be decided nearer the time)
