1. PM replied. Also, I forgot to mention in my listing above that the previous owner moved the feet from the base of the cab to the side so there are small screw holes present. Will grab a photo of it when I get a chance!
2. SOLD Fender Mike Dirnt Signature Precision Bass ('51 Reissue in black finish) These are really nice basses - loads of good reviews online. They're kind of a hybrid between a '51 and '55 Precision with a Custom Vintage '59 Split Single-Coil and Badass II bridge. In good condition other than a few smalls scratches near the jack socket and a small scratch on the lower side of the neck at the fourth fret. I've tried to picture these both the best I can. The serial dates it to 2007-2008 but there's a 60th Anniversary badge on the back of the headstock so possibly 2006 production? Reluctant sale but I'm not playing bass much at the moment and need to raise funds towards my wedding. I'm after SOLD - open to trades. Collection from Oxford welcome.
3. **NOW SOLD** Ampeg Micro VR Stack (Micro VR head & SVT210AV Cab) In good working order, mostly used for studio work. Great sounding bass amp + super loud for their size! Bass cab tolex is peeling off at the rear panel as pictured. Not sure why exactly as it's been well looked after but never bothered me enough to fix it! Selling as I'm not really playing bass much at the moment and need to raise cash towards wedding fund. I'm also selling a Fender Mike Dirnt Signature Precision Bass in the Basses sub-forum. I'm after SOLD collected from Oxford. May consider splitting head and cab but I'd rather sell as a stack. No trades thanks.
4. For Sale: Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass in Candy Apple Red with black scratchplate. SOLD. Serial number dated to 1998/99. Made in Mexico Great bass, plays well and has a really nice tone aided by the on-board three band EQ. I'm selling due to recent switch to a '51 Precision RI. I've owned it for about five years - it's well gigged and in need of a little TLC. There's a tuner bushing missing, the battery cover is cracked and the jack socket probably needs replacing. These are things that have never bothered me even though they're relatively easy fixes. Aesthetically it's full of character dings and light scratches. I've tried to picture these as best I can but I'm no photographer. Also there are a few small dents across the neck but it's still perfectly playable. Viewing/collection from Oxford welcome. No trades thanks. Full high res set available on Flickr:
5.
Go on, I'll take that and collect Sunday?
PM'd Oh and yes, the hoover nozzle worked a treat - cheers!
6. Bought an Ampeg Micro VR from Mark. Hassle free transaction, good communication, speedy delivery and great condition head. Top bloke!
7. Price drop to £40 Moving house so needs to go!
8. Bump - price drop to £30 Moving house so needs to go!
9. This cab was built for me by a friend a few years ago. Unfortunately I haven't been using it much as I should and it's taking up space. The dust cap has some denting but it doesn't affect the sound. Would be an ideal cab to put a new speaker in. 150W 15 Ohm 1979 Celestion G15-150 15" Speaker (Dust cap is dented - see pics) Height: 620mm Width: 500mm Depth: 450mm Single 1/4" jack input Recessed handles and Orange style skid feet on both sides. Weighs around 20kg. [s]£60[/s] [s]£40 £20 collection from Oxford.[/s] SOLD
10. Up for grabs is a Laney B210 2x10" Bass Cab which is well used but currently gathering dust. 120W 8 Ohm H|H Acoustics 10" Speakers Height: 360mm Width: 630mm Depth: 360mm 2 x 1/4" jack inputs It's a fairly old model with usual gig scratches but in generally good nick. Feels pretty rugged and weighs around 20kg. [s]£50[/s] £30 collection from Oxford.
11. Selling my Fender RT-1000 as I'm no longer using a rackmount set up... It's a really accurate tuner and looks cool. Slight bending/scratching to the left ear mount and general scratches on the case, but in otherwise good condition. Comes with original box (fairly tatty) but without original manual. To be honest there's not much to it and I'm sure the manual is kicking around online somewhere. £65 collection from Oxford or £70 delivered. The Fender RT-1000 is a single rack-space chromatic tuner for guitar or bass, styled to complement the look of Fender professional bass amplifiers. The RT-1000 uses the same electronics as the Fender PT-100, and features a heavy-duty brushed aluminium housing with bright blue LED pitch indicators, an illuminating blue Fender F to indicate correct pitch and a large red LED note indicator. Fender RT-1000 features include: Front and rear input jacks (front has priority) Calibration button (calibration range 438 to 445 Hz) Mute button Two output jacks (one always active; one disabled by mute button).

13. Thanks for the advice everyone. I went for an Ampeg SVT210AV cab as it sounded great for it's size. No noticeable distortion when running it parallel @ 4 ohms but the Superfly head is making a weird whirring sound like an old kettle. Must be a dodgy fan or something. Think I'll get rid of the old Laney cab and get another Ampeg to make a tiny stack like this guy did...
14. Hi, I just bought an Ashdown Superfly head on eBay and was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on which cab(s) to pair it with. It's the model with two 250W into 4 ohm outputs. I've already got an 8 ohm 200W 2x10 Laney cab and was thinking of getting another cheap 2x10 or 1x15 cab to run in parallel. I was thinking along the lines of an Ampeg SVT210AV or an Ashdown MAG210T which are both 200W/8 ohm. Would running two of these cabs in parallel cause an issue with the fact they can only handle 200W each? Cheers.
15. Hello. I recently managed to pick up a Mexican Deluxe Active Jazz Bass for a bargain price but it needs a little TLC. Does anyone know where I can order a set of Jazz Bass knobs to fit solid shaft pots? I'm in need of the stacked Bass/Treble EQ knob along with the regulars. Could also do with a new battery cover. The old one was held on with Sellotape! I've tried allparts, axesrus, WD and a few local shops but I've had no luck so far. I've even tried contacting Fender who never got back to me. Would appreciate any suggestions. Cheers!
