Mr letts is right you could pick up a cheap Plannnnner/thicknesser for the cost of return postage....
Where abouts?
I'm the market for an "ok" thicknesser for bass bodies and the cheapest ones (Dewalt - not interested in anything less than their spec) are about £350+... and even then they won't take a full body because of the gate width limitations.

had to post... £3,000 for a recordable cassette with 'Prodigy 96' written on it in pen??!!!??

It was so nice of Keith to autograph it some what oddly with the year on it (even though the year is already written on it by the same person - look at the 9's) .... and almost nothing like these ones from the same era off a fan site....

... but somewhat clumsily like the one that comes up first when you google "keith flint autograph". If you look close you can see that the K looks close but is actually formed (the direction lines cross) very differently.

  3. That would be quite acceptable. Your t/r should have been able to compensate for that even if you mean a back bow or a forward one.
Presumably as your t/r has now snapped it bears no influence on the wood right now. In a perfect world it would be dead straight at the moment (with no strings and no t/r) but that need not necessarily be the case as it has spent it's entire life having some degree of bow being forced upon it.

How come perry was playing bass there too then?
They originally booked Pink Floyd but due to an administrative error he turned up instead.

No Mike that was the Moffat Llama Fanciers Society you went to first time around.

You can still do that: Click 'Delete My Vote' then vote again. I did.
Cheers bud. That would feel a bit unconstitutional for me to do - "I've made my bed..." and all that.

Nice option for the ladies though "it's a womans perogative" etc etc :) Ooh sexist let's neg the biatch. :)

Looks like the current majority is to totally deactivate it. I'll admit that would certainly create less problems for us.
It still looks to me like the current majority want to keep it (33+38 to keep 70 to deactivate) but I can't be bothered with this poll and how I "interpret it" any more. I wish now I'd just voted to get rid of it entirely instead of voting to have a "good karma" button built into the forum like it was before. :)

I'd say that you are misreading it with a bias to a particular view. You might as well say that the first and the third are the same because they are both against negs but that would also be a biased reading.
How am I misreading the options? The first two options begin (and I quote) "Keep the reputation system but..." while the last one is "Deactivate the reputation system...". A & B are clearly the same option differentiated by a sub-proviso while option C is clearly their absolute antithesis.

A & C can't be the same - C is against the use of Reputation System as a whole, while A is in favour of the system but against one of it's features. And (again) B is also in favour of the system but is not against either of the features. I do see how it can at first look unfair but the wording clearly stipulates that it is a vote to keep, or not to keep... but if kept there is a further condition to the choice.

Aherm. Works the same with a woman too. :)

And yes, of course you're correct. However, you do get a glimpse of what each person is like from the way they write - it may take a little while, but even your most monosyllabic posts contribute to creating an image of you for those who take the time to notice.

I am a member of several local forums, and we have regular real life meetups, and my impressions of each poster's character have been relatively correct so far. It's harder to imagine someone's physical aspect (unless they provide a photo), but sometimes you can sort of guess that too!

    Spot on. Like. :)

But the top two are in favour of different things so can't be conflated.
Not so. They are both in favour of the "like" option. The only division between those voting A & B is that the B voters are in favour of "dislike" too.

  11. Ach just take it anyway. :)
The bash is kind of split in 2 parts you've got the actual bash on Sunday but on the Saturday night we go back to the cottages for a much less formal après-ruby-murray bevy where you can break out any other gear you might not necessarily want to show off on the Sunday.
