  1. Yes the pickups are Barlitoni , I got this & a 6 string bass from James years ago & have never used them ,I already have two 4 string Shukers , If you contact Jon Shuker he'll have the full details on it ,neck width etc ,I know it as an early one . I've just packaged it up along with some other basses ready to go up to one of the London shops .

I'm pretty happy soundwise with My ABM evo 2 compact cabs, so I'd only swap them out for something lightweight that sounded equally as good!

Those 310's are fantastic looking cabs though

I have several Ashdown cabs , But this set up gives me the sound I've been looking for , Huge even at blow volumes , One cab for small venues .

Those cabs look great! As I mentioned in another post, I'd definitely snap some of those up if there was a lightweight version available

I find them dead easy to move around , I only lift them to slide them into my van .

  4. what I love about my Ashdown Cl310 DH   is that the two bottom 10" speakers are ported & the top one is sealed , I get a great clear tone while standing right next to it on tight stages but a full bass sound is hitting the dance floor area .

I should have something relatively similar to what you are asking in the near future, so I can provide an update.

For an immediate idea, have a look at the custom white ABM 900s they did for Guy Pratt a few years ago:

I have one  CL310 DH cab ,What's it like running two ?

Sorry to revive an older thread. Kevin, did you need to relocate the feet on your CTM-100 or do they manage to fit on top? Like the sound of the combination?

    Thanks!

Hi ,  No the feet don't  fit I use a rubber matt .

These always seemed a little but awkward looking to me. I wouldn't like to have a valve head perched on top of it. Apart from having the top speaker closer to your ears I don't see the big advantage of it over say a 4 x 10, 2 x 10 or 1 x 15 in terms of practicality

I have a CTM100 & it's very stable on top , I agree it looks odd but then if you were in an up & coming band everyone would want that look ;) .
