5. Hi for sale it's my beloved WARWICK THUMB NT BASS 1986/88 This is one of the first Thumb's . Saddly I have to sell some of my basses. The serial it's odd: D1 303 Mr. Wilfer, the Warwick's boss saw in his data base this bass serial should be D130 83, so, the 130th bass from April 86. But from other bass number K xxx 86, (thanks, Pascal!), maybe this bass it's from April 88. Warwick says in 1987 the two piece bridge was introduced. The recessed tunning pegs are only from 1985 and 1987... Well, a bit confuse... Anyway, this bass it's from 86/88, for shure. How many do you find for sale? Whatever, it's a extraordinaire good sounding bass, a piece of Warwick's history. The plastic circle of the G string it's broken, but it's only cosmetic. The tuner works perfectly. Also has a recessed piece for the strapp lock near the bridge. The neck it's very confortable, amazing playing. It's a really stunning bass. Neck wood wenge with bubinga lamination Fingerboard wenge with dots inlays Frets bronce Warwick Nut Just a nut brass version Body 3 pcs. solid bubinga, surface oil finish PUs 2xJJ EMG and preamp by MEC 2 band Hardware black, Schaller pegs Please ear here this amazing instrument, the Warwick's growling sound of wood, clean and powerfull: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDo8Et5UE88&feature=plcp ASKING 1590 EURO Thank you
6. Hi for sale it's my beloved WARWICK THUMB BASS 1986/87 This is one of the first Thumb's . Saddly I have to sell some of my basses. This is the mail I've received from Warwick's boss, whem I've bought the bass a few years ago. Any question feel free to ask. Thank you Dear Mr. Fernando Bicho, thanks for your mail and your Thumb is on of the earliest Thumb NT Basses and for this condition.. - year I am pretty sure your Bass is from 1986....I would say as following : - Bass Thumb Bass NT 4 string Serial Number D 130 86, Year 1986 Month April Number 130 Neck Wood Wenge with Bubinga Lamination Fingerboard Wenge with Dots inlays, Frets Bronce Warwick Frets , Nut Just a Nut Brass Version Neck construction NeckThrough hiddenneck construction Body 3 pcs. solid Bubinga, Surface Oil Finish Pickups 2 x JJ ative EMG Pickups, Electronic 2 Band Electronic by MEC Hardware Black Hardware (still with Schaller Pegs) It is a personal guess the bass is from 1986, maybe early 1987, can be too, but not for shure 88. It is the number 130 and witch I believe, one of the earliest basses already with the longer horn and this was up from the serial number 100 or 110... so it is possible end of 86 latest 87 but not later... stil I believe it is 86 The condition is like new.. unbelievable.. ask 1500 euros plus shipping thank you

10. Hi The watts from digital don't seem the same from traditional amps.... and the lows are not the same. The RH750 it's a great head, like a swiss knife has many nice features like the memory, tuner... and the compressor it's very very good. It's more heavy than the others mini-heads, but very easy to transport. So, the only think I didn't liked was when I compared the sound to the Mesa Boogie Walkabout and the lows are not the same. The Mesa wins, but it's a head with a valve preamp, so, diferent worlds, maybe. But, if we don't compare, the RH750 it's a very good head.
11. Thanks Jimbobothy and all of you. News on this..... the bass is now sold on warwick's forum ... I know, it was I was looking for... but it's sad. . Well... life goes on. Cheers Have a nice weekend

13. Hello I don't know what's "annegre" wood... but the body it's seems made of cherry, yes. That it's the official description of Warwick's database. Maybe someone knows what's "annegre".... The lettering in the PUs it's in silver color. thank you
14. Hi wrong. All Warwicks have MEC preamp since the begining . The pickups were Bartolini, Seymour Duncan, OBL-Bill Lawrence and optional Alembic, but mostly EMG but all the preamps were MEC. This bass it's all original. thank you. Cheers
