The bald spots are scuffs on the edge surrounding the grill, but those cunning people at Trace Elliot appear to have sprayed the whole front black before sticking the the green fluff on, so you can't actually see them very well. If you zoom in on the first pic you can see them. On the bottom at the back the join in the fuzz has seperated, i'll try and get a pic and add it to the others.

  2. It's been yonks since i've used this so it's got to go. £170

Trace Elliot GP7 SM 300 1x15 Combo, covered in green fuzz which has a few baldy spots and dings.
Weighs 32Kg according to the scales used by She Who Must Be Obeyed.
It's loud, it's heavy and it's green. It will give you 'heft' and quite possibly a hernia.

Would prefer a localish sale if possible due to size and weight, but if you want to sort out a courier that's fine.

  3. To paraphrase The Fabulous Furry Freak Bros.

'Basses will see you through times of no money better than money will see you through times of no basses'...............also applies to beer :drinks:

Just realised the only one I bought new was the Streamer '89 Ltd......and an Aria CSB380 I got on HP when I was 14 :D (a looong time ago) He asked me how much money I was earning, I said two fifty, he assumed it was two hundred and fifty, but it was £2.50 for delivering papers :thank_you: My mother went absolutely mental when she found out. :laugh1:

  4. Here's a quick pic of Larry,Mo and Curly. The Turdbass has no knobs due to cleaning after The Guiness Incident. Of the 3 this one is the most dangerous, it has some sort of Armageddon circuit installed, which I can only assume Rob Green designed on a stormy night in a tower room somewhere....MORE VOLTS IGOR!!!

One thing I thought was a bit 'off' was that the pickup cover (removed before I left the shop as it gets in my way) is chrome plated plastic, not metal. At the cost of these puppies, I thought that was a bit cheap and should've been solid metal. However, I don't use/need it so 'whatever' really.

I removed the plastic ashtray and eventually the metal pickup surround too, as it was almost sharp enough to shave with. The discussion of this and my disdain for the pompous, fanboy replies ultimately led to me being asked never to darken the doors of a certain Ric forum again, I was devastated as you can imagine :laugh1:
