Sadly, here we have my fine example of an MTD Kingston Heir 4 up for sale. No issues at all, plays wonderfully and sounds great.
With the mortgage being high and the motivation to play low it makes no sense to keep hold of my full collection.
Any questions please shout. Collection or meet would be preferred.

This one hurts. Took an interest in bass as my parents always had The Smiths playing growing up. As soon as I started playing it was his stuff I wanted to learn straight away. RIP to the main man

Always enjoy seeing this thread make a comeback because of the LAG content

A revival of this thread - Been following this lad for a while now and wondered if there was any chat around him on here. Some wonderful stuff

I've used one of these for what must be around 10 years now. Bought it more as an introduction to effects but always stuck with it as it's so easy to use

I seem to recall having the same discussion when I was moving mine on a few years ago. Mine was identical to this except the finish was more of a purple.
I never did get to the bottom of what it was - lovely bass though!

Thanks to Charlie I now have a lovely Dunlop cleaning kit that I'll definitely, 100% use and not leave in a cupboard where I'll "get round to it" one day...
By no means a major purchase but Charlie still went to the effort of making the packaging indestructible - A pleasure 👍

Been back a few times just to have another look at this. Beautiful example of a LP

Happy to post as well

As above, bought some straplocks. Rapid & secure postage so great all round!

Still here - probably bin this week because I keep knocking over the tub they're sitting in

Not usually my thing but I'm loving this

Real shame about the circumstances - from my experience, these basses are fantastic and definitely punch above their weight. All the best!

Morning folks,
Just took these off my guitar project. No idea of age. Condition is ok, one or two are slightly shoogly which could likely be fixed. I only really changed them because it gave me the excuse to buy new ones. Ferrules included as well as the screws if needed.
Came off a 3x3 headstock (all six included, just to clarify)
Free for collection/meetup or whatever postage would be

Pete was kind enough to respond to my "Stuff Wanted" and have a rake about his parts drawer for me. Bought a lovely set of tuners from him, well packaged and wasted no time getting them sent up - perfect transaction
Thanks again!

LAG Collection
in Basses For Sale
Posted
Another from my small group of instruments up for sale is this beautiful LAG. I've had this for a number of years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Sadly the motivation for playing has been very low and the house costs are increasing so looking to potentially move some things on, no matter how pretty they are.
To my knowledge, this was made in France in '84(?) before the manufacturing was shipped off overseas. I've reached out to LAG a few times for some specifics but ultimately got nowhere. Only ever seen one other in this configuration and another in grey.
I believe the gold hardware is original (Made in W.Germany Schallers) but not sure about the EMG pickups.
An old dead so carries a few bumps and scrapes but overall in very nice condition. Have tried to capture any dings in the photos.
Collection or meet would be preferred. Any questions please let me know.
