1. I sold my EBS Unichorus to Paul. Good communication throughout deal and no problems with payment.
Great guy to deal with, I would definately do buisiness with him again (maybe you can sell it back to me some time Paul!)

Cheers P

2. Just purchased a Markbass 151HF cab from Ste.
Great communication thoughout deal and a real nice guy. Unlike the previous poster, I accepted the offer of a cup of tea when collecting. Cheers Ste!

3. Selling my Digitech Bass Squeeze to help raise funds for other gear

Here's the Digitech blurb:

The Bass Squeeze™ is the result of collaboration between DigiTech® and dbx® to create the world’s finest bass compression pedal. Utilizing award- winning dbx® OverEasy™ technology, the Bass Squeeze™ delivers dual-band compression, creating the most transparent bass compressor found in any stompbox.

£35 (inc postage)

VGC (looks new barring a couple of tiny scratches)

Squeeze me a PM if you're interested

4. Anyone looking for a top class chorus should know about these.

Looking for £105 posted.
I've noticed that these usually go for around the £85 mark on This marketplace but in all honesty I love the pedal so much I'm a bit tentative about letting go of it so there's a £20 persuasion fee! :)

In case you're wondering, I need to raise funds for another cab hence the sale. If it doesn't sell I'll still have the pedal and be happy though. Win!

Condition good as new

5. Boss ME-50b bass multi fx unit for sale.
condition good as new, manual but no PSU.

I'm sure you know what this is, every effect you'll need shelled in one unit with programmable patches and tuner, EQ and expression pedal

Compressors, limiter, wah, octaver, boost, fuzz, distortion, overdrive, synths, phaser, flanger, chorus, delay, reverb etc (you get the picture)

£120 inc postage

6. I'm regrettably selling this little beast as I have no other means of funding the purchase of a decent compressor (which I need).

I purchased the pedal not so long ago from a fellow basschatter (I've used his photo as the condition of pedal hasn't changed) but
much as I love the super funky tones I've been prising from it, circumstances dictate.

Here's what EHX say about it;

The Electro-Harmonix Enigma is a powerful and precise envelope filter fine-tuned for bass frequency response. Sculpt your envelope to reveal a truly expressive tone, with a defined and unique signature. Enigma will deliver tight and smooth control over the complete 40 Hz to 3 kHz range, with a consistent and even sweetness. Need some edge? Engage Enigma''s analog distortion and dial in anything from subtle bite to dominating crush. You can even plug in an optional expression pedal to control the filter sweep with your foot. With the ability to adjust Q, sweep range, and filter type, you''ll also wind up with of the most versatile wahs available. Enigma: a mysteriously musical envelope filter for bass guitar.

I'm looking for £80 with expession pedal, £70 without - delivered (lead not included).

Both pedals boxed

7. Hey man,
I've got an EHX Enigma Q-balls that I might be willing to trade.
I don't know if filters are your thing but there's a whole lotta funk in this one as well as optional distortion.

Phil

8. Traded a Weeping Demon for an Enigma Q-balls with expression pedal from Jose.
Great correspondence (with some good humour thrown in), quick delivery and all round top guy.
Pleasure doing buisness with the man.

9.
It helps a LOT if you have a true-bypass looper (single, double, whatever).

Any pedal which turns out to have unwanted side-effects can then be by-passed when not in use.

Given that combinations of pedals can create side-effects which each of those pedals on its own does not, sometimes it's the only solution.
Cheers for that. To my knowledge the EBS, EHX and Black Cat pedals are true bypass and I might not even include the overdrive pedal as it's just a slot filler really. Given that, do you think a loop will be necessary for the tuner and compressor?

10. Hey there world of Basschat,

I'm on the verge of setting up a pedal board with the following pedals:

BOSS TU-2 tuner
EBS UNICHORUS
BLACK CAT BASS OCTAVE FUZZ
EHX BASSBALLS NANO
BOSS ODB-3 OVERDRIVE
DIGITECH BASS SQUEEZE COMPRESSOR

Any advice on what order I should set them up and if any of the pedals are likely to suck my tone in the chain would me more than welcome, I'm clueless! :s
In fact, any pedalboard set-up tips would be great.

Damn, I feel like a fool!
