  1. For sale is the Model:Samples from Elektron. A wonderful sample based groove machine / drum machine. This ultimately was the gateway drug to me purchasing the Elektron Digitakt. Check out the Elektron website fro a proper idea of what this does: https://www.elektron.se/gb/modelsamples-explorer Will come with original box, the remaining stickers, and power supply. As well as a selection of samples from Blank Forms, Dust Palace, and Samples from Mars that I have already loaded onto the machine (pretty much any classic drum machine you'd want, and a selection of dirtier and more experimental sounds and textures). Postage included in price.
  2. For sale is a Mesa TT800 Amp Head. This amp is absolutely wonderful - incredible sounding, lightweight, portable, and supremely versatile. The two channels can cover most tonal needs, with simple but versatile eq and voicing controls. All manner of wonderful features from the HPF, to the O/D Symmetry controls allow a great amount of control over the nuances of the sound. An amazingly designed and engineered amp, with no feature overlooked - the DI outputs on this head are incredible, both Tube driven with the Pre still coming after the Deep, Bright, and High/Low gain switches, allowing for a lovely bit of colour and character to the DI signal, whilst the Post Master DI gives all the character of the two preamps. The Deep/Bright switches are some of the best I've experienced; both are incredibly useful and usable, and never lead to over-scooped tones. I received this amp back in 2020 direct from Mesa. It has since been used for a number of recording sessions as a preamp/DI, and many gigs as an amp, driving a variety of cabinets, and has even sat in my living room as a practice headphone amp for some silent playing. Recent gigs and needs have lead me towards different amplifier needs, and so I am needing to make space - I will no doubt miss this amp sorely. It is in good condition: a couple of scratches/marks on the top of the casing, and one on the bottom edge. I've tried to capture these in photos. The gig bag also has a small hole in the from pocket (the size of a needle tip pretty much). Otherwise all in great condition, and fully functioning. I have all the original manual and tags, as well as the box it was shipped in so postage is not an issue - will ship tracked and insured to the UK/Ireland for £30. Please get in touch if you have any other questions.
  3. For Sale is the Xerograph Low Pass Filter from Iron Ether. Legendary filter pedal from Iron Ether. Capable of all sorts of synth-y and dub-y tones. The envelope sweeps are gorgeous, spanning slow filter movements, to precise and snappy plucks. Sounds great in 2 or 4 pole mode. I most regularly have used this always-on with some light envelope sensitivity, allowing me to close and open the filter as desired during playing. Postage included in price.
  4. For Sale is the Mantic Proverb reverb pedal. This is one of my absolute favourite reverb pedals of all time - which is why I own 4 of them. Deciding to let this one go to another home where it will be better used. Simple to use, but unique sounding reverb pedal, with a heritage rooted in spring-style verb, but a character all of its own. At more subtly settings this is pure tonal delight paired with a short scale, flats, pick, and palm muting. Equally happy to act as a gateway to ambient dreamscapes. This model also has an expression input to control the "Dwell" amount, allowing you to freely push the reverb in and out of self oscillation. These pedals have a wonderful hint of modulation to the verb, that I have found to be distinct between pedals, and particularly apparent in self oscillation. Also of note; if you push the pedal into self oscillation, it will continue to do so even in it's bypassed state, allowing you inject walls of oscillating reverb as you turn the pedal on and off, which is always great fun! Postage included in price.
  5. For Sale is the Damnation Audio MBD-1 drive/distortion pedal. Comes with original box, pen, and sticker. This is an incredibly versatile and rich sounding drive pedal. A wonderfully integrated clean blend adds focus, punch, and power to tho whole. Equally capable as an always-on tone shaper with light drive, or as destructive wall of distorted might. Postage included in price.
  6. For Sale is the Linden Equaliser from Barber Electronics I am probably going to regret letting this one go... Wonderful sounding pedal that captures the character of the EQ circuit from the Ampeg B15, and then further broadens this for an incredibly rich, and sweet sounding EQ pedal, that will very happily become a preamp. http://www.barberelectronics.com/linden_compact.html I have used this paired with Tube DI for some of my best sounding DI tones. Stacks well with other pedals too, for further shaping of distortion pedals, or for pushing into drive pedals. Pretty much impossible to get a bad sound out of this one. Postage included in price.
  7. For Sale is the Empress Compressor. A wonderful compressor, particularly for those not looking for colouration of your tone. A full feature set, wonderful monitoring for both input level and gain reduction, as well as a clean blend (hello parallel compression!), and a side chain input/loop make for an incredible compressor with all the control you could ever want, as well making compression something easy to understand and visualise. The side chain feature works wonderfully - I have used this many times for live side-chain pumping off a kick drum, as well as using an EQ pedal in the side chain to help reduce compression to the low end. Postage is included in the price.
  8. For Sale is a Mark Bass Compressore Valve Compression pedal - with power supply and original box (a little tatty). This is a really wonderful sounding compressor - and with a control/feature set more akin to studio compressors. I have loved this for adding some some fatness to my tone. This review captures the spirit and character of this pedal very well: https://www.compressorpedalreviews.com/post/markbass-compressore-review Postiche is included in the price.
  9. For Sale is an Avalon U5 in Black. Spent most of it's life in a touring rack, alongside a matching unit - as such is now surplus to requirements. These sound great, and provide a wonderful rich and warm tone. As well as a wide variety of tone shapes to further sculpt your signal. A standard fro bass guitar live DI and studio use for a reason, and equally wonderful on sorts of other sources. Very little wear on this unit, apart from some light signs of "rack-rash". Happy to post for an additional £15. Also interested in trades for a Precision bass of similar value - mexican/player series Fender, or Limelight / Albus bass builds (sucker for that relic look).
  10. For Sale is a Yamaha BB1024x This has been well loved, and for most of it's life has been toured in a flight case. I own another BB1024x as well as a BB2024x, making this bass surplus to requirements. Yamaha's consistency with these basses is incredible, and other than the slight difference in body shape/carve, I cannot differentiate between the 1024 and 2024 models in feel or sonics. Equipped with no nonsense controls: volume, tone, pickup selector, and two wonderfully voiced and balanced pickups this bass is a true favourite of mine, and to my mind a truly iconic model from Yamaha. It has a wonderful balance of warmth, and grind, and has a midrange voice/quality that always sits well in a mix. The build quality on these basses is phenomenal, and features like the unique through-body designs, and the nut material matching that of the frets makes for a wonderfully even, responsive, and sustaining voice from this instrument. The bass has a few marks and knocks in the body, as you'd expect from a bass that has been in constant live/studio action since 2015. Nothing of particular not though. The original strap buttons are missing, but in their place are black strap locks, and I will include the padded strap I have always used with this bass, with accompanying strap locks. The bass is currently strung with LaBella Black Tapewounds, but I will also include a set of D'Addario Pro Steels 105-45. The original gig bag is also included. I am happy to ship/post - please contact me to arrange a quote, but this should be within £50. I would also consider trades for a Precision Bass of aa similar cost - Mexican / player series, or something like a Limelight, or Alnus bass build (I'm a sucker for a relic finish).
  11. Price drop £800 - still open to trades or any other sensible offers.
  12. For Sale is a Peavey T40 in black finish from 1981. I bought this almost exactly a year ago from The Bass Gallery - it has served me well in that time, having seen it's fair share of live outings and studio sessions. The tone is absolutely beastly and the bass plays great. I have included their original photos, as they capture the bass well. I will endeavour to sort updated pictures, as I have cleaned the bass up a little in it's time with me. Frets and truss rod all in good health. The bass has a decent amount of wear, which the original pictures from The Gallery capture well - some paint/varnish on the headstock/tuner heads as well a fair few chips/marks/dents in the finish. I have cleaned some of this up, in particular the pickguard and back of the bass (I will try and arrange some decent pictures to better capture it's current state). There is also a replacement knob for the bridge tone control. It also comes with the original "chainsaw" case, though like many others it has parted ways with it's original plush lining, and so is just bare plastic. A previous owner seemed to have glued kitchen roll or similar inside for some padding, which seems to be what had contributed to the "gunk" on the back of the basses body, which is as it came to me from The Gallery. As with other T40s it is heavy, but nothing a wide and cushioned strap can't overcome (I have one I will include) - weighs in at 10lbs on luggage scales. I am happy to ship anywhere within the UK or Ireland for an additional £50, and can look at quotes for further flung places. If you are in or near Belfast you are welcome to come and try it out for yourself. Get in touch if you have any questions.
  13. For sale are a selection of effects pedals. All in good working condition, though some baring the signs of use, and some with Velcro attached. No original box unless noted. Can arrange collection in/around Belfast. Postage will be an additional £10 Elektron Analog Drive £160 Highly underrated box capable of delivering all manner of drive tones, and even clean boost. The Harmonic Fuzz circuit inside isn't particularly pleasing. Has the possibility to be run in preset mode or "WYSIWYG" for more classic pedal functionality. The three band EQ with sweepable Mid Band allows for all sorts of tone shaping, and having access to presets on the fly can make this a one stop shop for all your dirt and EQ needs. Has a chip in the paintwork, shown in the pictures below. Comes with original box and Power Supply Unit. Empress Compressor £160 An absolutely wonderfully compressor, offering studio-grade functionality. Clean/Transparent best capture it's tonal presentation. Whilst it's wide range of controls and comprehensive metering allow for precise setting of all aspects of the compression. I have used the sidechain functionality extensively for live sidechain/pumping effects, feeding it a signal from the Kick drum, which was massively rewarding. ON HOLD - Darkglass Vintage Microtubes £120 - SOLD Not sure what there is to say about this. A now iconic drive pedal - there is magic in the ERA control which is sadly missing on all other iterations of the Vintage Microtubes (which is a shame as I feel EQ doesn't capture all that this control does). I have often used this as an always-preamp, and even run two on the same board for a wide range of tones. Unsurprisingly I have ended up with more of these than needed, and so I am letting this one go. Malekko Diabolik £130 SOLD Incredible sounding Maestro Brassmaster derived (by way of Malekko's own B:Assmaster) fuzz pedal. Condensed to it's simplest and most necessary form. Independent clean and fuzz level controls allow for a wide range of sounds, with subtle blends given almost overdrive-like tones. Don't worry though, this pedal is practically begging to be opened up and let out to room the fields of fuzz glory. Delivering a wall of squelchy, squishy, octave-harmonic laden fuzz. A perfect foundation for synth tones, or more than enough to make ears bleeds, and level buildings. Mark Bass Compressore £100 Another wonderful sounding compressor. Warm and rich on the tonal front, with enough control to cover most compression-based needs. It pretty much never sounds bad and offers studio level compression, fully utilising the Tube/Valve unlike some other designs. Comes with original box and it's own 12v Power Supply Unit.
  14. Decided to hang on to this one for now.
