1. These are absolutely top notch basses - super slim neck, great playability and a wide variety of great usable sounds from the pickup combo. All the best with the sale rohan!
2. Millenium Barndance at Yeovil Aerodrome? Youth hostelling with Chris Eubank??
3. I'm based in Normanton, not too far away from junction 31 of M62.
4. Happy New Year to all fellow basschatters! Lace Helix still for sale. I'm looking for in the region of £275 for this unusual but superb sounding passive p-type bass.
5. Happy New Year to all fellow basschatters!!! The Megatar is still for sale. Perfect for anyone wanting to start out a new year with a new instrument to extend their skills. I will be sorry to see it go but needs must at the moment. Looking for £525 for this beast, which includes fitted flight case. Let me know if you are interested.
6. You're right, it's one cool looker and a great instrument to learn - it's actually easier to play than you would imagine as the action is real low. Can I just say - thanks for all the positive comments on the Megatar. Item still up for grabs....and would make an ideal Christmas present to any budding Tony Levins/Nick Beggs'!!!
It looks cool but I know I'd struggle to ever get it to make a musical sound!
7. Open to consider sensible, reasonable offers...... Any interest??
8. The Megatar does weigh a fair bit - I don't know the exact weight but the Megatar strap does even out the weight of it somewhat and makes it a comfortable play even for a five foot tenner like me! Materials wise, the through neck construction is made of alder and maple. If you need any further info, let me know.
9. It's one hell of a beast of an instrument - not sure I could play tennis with it though Still up for grabs!
10. Yes, it's another bass from my collection that needs to go to a good home. This time it's my Lace Helix bass. Finished in a lovely transparent blue. Superb passive bass with Alumitone pickup giving an excellent range of P-bass type sounds and some softer tones as well. Item is in very good condition. Never gigged - only used for home practice/recording. Just a few surface scratches on the bottom side of body plus a very small crack in the paint on the reverse side of the bass near the neck join. Otherwise, all spot on. I'm looking for in the region of £300 for this gem. Buyer will need to collect. Cash on collection. Any questions, please let me know.
11. Well, it's time for me to clear out some more from my collection of basses and therefore the next to go is my Mobius Megatar. Bought second hand in 2009 for a project which then didn't materialise. Used only for home practice and recording but very much underused. Recently restrung to bass-bottom tuning. On board Bartolini pickups give an excellent range of sounds. Item is in very good condition and comes complete with fitted case and strap. Due to size and weight, buyer will need to collect. Cash on collection only. I'm looking for in region of £525 for this beast. If you need any further info, please give me a shout.
12. Some interest but no takers so far. Willing to drop price to £400.......any takers at that price?

These are fantastic basses - great sounds, build quality and playability. I own a number of basses and this is the one I come back to time and time again. Awesome for the price.
14. Looks very nice indeed - how easy are those quick flip battery compartments to fit?
