And funnily enough, his successor, Nathan King, plays the same.

From the live clips I've seen of him, he gets a great, clipped sound through Fender Twins but I believe he's gone Kemper.

There are others, like Paul Jackson and the guy from Earth Wind and Fire who used LPs and astonished to see that Chrissie Boy from Madness has been using one for a good few years.

Have you tried it with a compressor or with some form of EQ pedal - the Xotic RC  Booster is very good as a tone shaper.

I of course meant Boon Gould.oops!

  2. Did an Exchange with Andy for his Pedulla Thunderbolt 5. Excellent Basschatter and was good with comms both  before and afterward when there was an issue ( my fault not his ) and worked to a solution together.

    Great Tea also!

    Thoroughly recommended.

Not to be confused with the cheaper Tokai "Love Rock" LP Standard replica models.... plays like a dream ....binding on back and front. Comes with a serviceable padded gig bag. London collection preferred. Vintage wine red finish. Mahogany body with maple cap. 2015 vintage Chinese built.

  4. Re : swapsies - hit me up with what you got. Cash adjustments will be on a case by case basis if im interested ill get back to you with an offer of your thing plus X amount cash difference. Sorry I cant be more specific, im just trying to adopt a flexible approach..... instruments / amps / efx welcome. PM any offers so as not to needlessly kick this ad to the top ( and for your privacy too)

Yes Brian ive had fun with her but all good affairs come to an end and ive my eye on something else now so the door is open again....

  5. Early 2001 (according to the serial) example.Great sounding B and all round splendid instrument. Reducing the flock to sponsor new incoming wife. I'm aware of very few examples of this colour around which should add to it's un-knickability. Maple neck is matt finish with inevitable grubby marks ( removable by cleaning no doubt just never bothered me so it's as is) there are a couple of nicks (shown in photos) and the strap locks have been replaced for Schaller (included are the strap locks on a vermillion Ernie Ball guitar strap ( natruellement, matches the bass) includes musicman OHSC. Also plastic p/u selector has been swapped out for a funky metal one.

Any questions fire away part-ex possible just try your luck! But I will need to see cash too I'm afraid. Cash is king though

    Cheers

  6. Got this in a recent trade here on Bass chat. It's a lovely example. One ding (pictured) by the MM pickup. Not the lightest bass but no Steve Harris precision heavyweight either. (No scales here but I'd put it at 9-10 lb) I'm getting rid as I'm very much into playing my plastics at the moment ( im a STATUS man at heart probably because I'm an ex Essex boy). Available for a try at my gaff in West London. Shipping if absolutely necessary. More pics available on demand...Trades for another 5 string welcome . 34" Scale..includes good quality( if a little tatty ) padded gig bag.
