My singer won't do Slither, but it's great bass line (and a great song)..

this +1.. Although you can still buy old style solder, it just can't be used in RoHS products..

sort of hard to make a judgement unless you have a detailed knowledge of the gain structure...

but it does appear that the general consensus is that the TH500 lacks heft..

Regardless, something in your setup is sucking tone... I'd take it apart and build it back up a pedal/device/patch lead at a time.

Depends on the pedals - you can use a looper or have true bypass pedals, or a switchable effects loop on the amp.. All of which address the tone suck issue..

Just reading the first post - is the AG500 class D or class A? :-)

I suspect I'm one of the militant ones - if you use backing tracks it's simply a type of Karaoke IMHO.. Or playing along to stuff on the radio :-)
