well ive had it for 2 day and it plays very well for a short scale, im really pleased ill get some piccys

quick question.. if i find the fretboard is too short would i get away with putting a full size neck on it? (on Ultimate Guitar i have been told that i can)

Just won a brand new Encore Sunburst Bass on ebay for a grand total of £57! woop woop! im quite pleased as its my first actual bass just gotta wait 4 more days til it arrives

Right.. Ive been playing for a few months now and have learnt a few basslines/riffs and done a few covers with my band, but so far ive just been borrowing a mates bass but the time has come to decide on what i should get, and im pretty stuck...Electro Acoustic or Hard Bodied? My 'favoured' genre is soft rock (Free, The Stranglers etc ) but i also like to cover Nirvana etc so i really dunno..can you help me decide please

Funny you should mention The Stranglers, im learning the bassline for 'Golden Brown' as were doing an acoustic cover soon

Who is the most inspiration to you and the to guitar you play??
For Me it would Definately have to Be either John Entwhistle of The Who or Andy Fraser of Free

Thanks for your post.. I myself am more suited to a more 'gentler' style of music, so anything semi/ Electro acoustic would be perfect! I have been learning the bassline to 'teen spirit' for a few days now as its quite simple but tbh its not my favourite style of music.. I would Rather cover the Likes of Free, The Who and The Stranglers etc if you know what i mean

Hi everyone im Chris from Luton and ive been playing bass for a few months now, im not that great as im only a beginner but im learning My band **unnamed atm** have just done a cover of 'smells like teen spirit' at school and im now after a bass of my own, but im not sure whether to get an Electric or an Electro Acoustic Advice would be most appreciated
