Have a bump - that Tele is a friggin' steal (I have one, they're superb). In fact, I'm wondering whether I can justify another one as a back up...

Unfortunately withdrawn due to it going into storage for a month while I get my house plastered.

It's from the late 70's/early 80's and is a replica of a 70's CBS-era Strat. It's not completely accurate however, dimensionally is perfect but it has an 11-screw pickguard, a 3 way switch (although you can easily get those inbetween tones by careful placing of the switch) and a four-bolt neck joint.

It's in stunning condition for it's age, it comes with the original soft case and tool bag, as well as the ashtray bridge cover. It got quite a lot of use and I'd worn the frets down, so it's just come back from a beautiful refret job by Matt Ryan based in Manchester. The frets are done so well, you couldn't tell they weren't as new, and the neck is one of the most comfortable I've ever played.

Soundwise, it's wonderful - really nice pingy and percussive Strat. Certainly up there with pretty much every Strat I've owned in the past.

Anyway - for sale at £400 due to it's condition and the brand new frets, and I'll potentially be interested in trades for any decent Japanese guitars (e.g. Yamaha, Fender Tele/Jag/Jazzmaster, Greco Tele, Burny LP, Edwards LP) or quality valve amps with cash adjustment where necessary.

For sale for £100 collected or £110 shipped UK mainland. For me, this is the closest I've got to an authentic 60's Celestion Blue sound. Not as clangy or bright as a Celestion Blue, and with a higher wattage capability it's more versatile.

It's immaculate other than solder on the terminals but I can provide pics if anyone wants them.

Due to me falling head over heels in love with my recently acquired Warmoth Tele, I need to raise some funds for an equivalent Strat with the same woods, so my Ibanez has to go.

It's great fun, in excellent condition and plays really nicely. No fretwear to speak of and all stock.

Looking for £225 - I'm based in West Oxfordshire. I'd rather not post it as it'll be a bit of a pig to pack up, but I'm happy to meet somewhere convenient.

Put in in a sealed bin bag with a bowl of vinegar. Leave it for a couple of days and the smoke smell will go, although it'll smell of vinegar a bit - leave it unsealed (maybe outside on a dry day) for a few hours and it'll be fine. I did this to a Cornell guitar amp and it worked a treat.
