Ultra rare Markbass Studio Pre.
Only very few preamps were produced. It is a two channel Valve preamp with 4x 12ax7.
Comes with original rack ears and bag.

I think it is better to test alternatives like the EBS T90 or the Ampeg B25B. The B-15 is a nice sounding amp and my "holy grail" of bass-sound. But this amp has one disadvantage: low power.
The newer Ampeg PF-50T isn´t a alternative to the B-15 sound. That are nice sounding amps with a lot of helpful features, but they sounds in another way as a B-15. Closer in sound is a Ampeg PF-20T. But like the B-15, this amps has less power... -

disssa - I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Fender pre-amp.

You know this? Klick (sorry, it is only in german. I am looking for someone, you wants translate my reviews...)
The TBP was one of my first preamps. The Fender TBP-1 is a really good sounding preamp. The 3-band eq is not extraordinary, it is the well known Fender tone stack. I like the "VARI-Q" semiparam. Eq and the "ROOM Balance". That are very good tools for difficult room acoustics. I play the 3-band eq nearly "flat" (2-10-2) and find my sound with the VariQ and the RoomBalance.
I dont often use the Overdrive-Channel because I am a "clean-tone-player". I Love this Fender clean sound. It is nearly the sound of my vintage Super-Bassman.

I have been looking for a good 1u rack mount power amp that is powerful and clean all through the range. I currently use a QSC PLX 2402 2U power amp which fits the bill sound wise but it weighs a ton. How well does the Synq 2k2 Power Amp work is it low noise and with a fan quiet etc . I've never heard of them before.
This poweramps use two little fans with a 4 cm diameter. Little fans are louder than bigger fans. I switched the original fans to silent fans from SUNON.
The synq poweramps are very efficient and powerful amps. I use the 2k2 because of the higher headroom.
You should look at the red rock modus 4.5 power amps. That is a class h poweramps. They sounds a little bit "warmer" than the synqs. -
I play a rig with a poweramp:

I own a lot of preamps and I like to combine the preamps with a synq audio 2k2 as a poweramp. -
It is a really versatile amp. Two separate channels "Classic" (tuby) and "modern". Both channels are blendable. £80 are a bargain!

Nobody knows the Ampeg SVT MP. It is nearly the same as the SVT DI, but you can use it also as Tube Preamp.

The TwinValve is one of my favorite amps. I wrote something about that amp here. I love that round, warm and fat tone.

This is a preamp for bassists who are looking for crunch and distortion sounds.

The Studio Pre, combining two channels, "clean" and "amp": CLEAN is a pristine direct channel which features a Pure Parametric Filter EQ for fine-tuning your sound to perfection. The AMP channel provides three types of distortion (two tube-driven and one solid state) to mix in with the clean channel. Personalize your sound with precision with two more EQ controls, variable pre-shape filter (VPF) and high pass filter (so you can apply distortion to only the high end), and push-pull knobs give you the ability to store your distortion settings. The professional compressor on the amp channel helps you tame the edges. The preamp's back-end offers three balanced XLR outputs so you can record each channel separately or together.
