What? You mean I don't get to play spot the wild animal with your build? That's not fair.

I worry that when I get mine, I'll start to plan number two.
Eek.
ah! i was the same, Tinmans buckeye got me going, but then John R Posted a georgous Thumb bass in the for sale section, so i think my 2nd shuker will have to wait a while -
Overall though, I’m dead happy with my own personal signature Shuker.
very interesting spec, loving those inlays, looking forward to seeing how this one turns out
-
i can see them, as well as the st.bernard, see if you can spot it
-
oh yes, starting to look the part now, its getting there pete

and another masterpiece is complete, stunning as expected, the righty stringing is confusing me though, although it does mean that all the right handed players can have ago upside down
-
wow, stunning, especially when the light hits it
It would be a good idea for us lefties to start a lefty lookout club. So everytime somone finds out about a good deal or sees a bass for sale they post to let all the others no.
what do you think?
sounds good to me, i saw this, havn't seen many ofTHESE around -
Thanks for the response, Ive got all the accessories (just the book and the amp to arrive yet, next week some time). The only thing I havent got is any picks. Totally confused as to what thickness/shape is best for bass guitars so some advice would be good. Thanks.
Well personally i think you have to just try a few and see what you prefer, my preference are THESE, i use the orange ones, i find they work best for me. -
Hey Rich, Welcome to BassChat and the world of bass, there's no harm in playing unplugged, just to mess about and get used to your new bass.
-
like everyone else has said the gsr200 is a great bass for the money, still got mine, one thing to bear in mind though is if it is pre 2004 it will be the passive model, you'll be able to tell by the amount of controls on it, if it has 4 then its one of the newer ones (active), if it has 3 then its the older version (passive)

didn't relize jon was getting his own branded cases, who's making them Hiscox i take it?

Been playing bass for about 7 years, style mainly rock, the odd bit of basic slapping and tapping here and there, play pick and fingerstyle...i should be better than i am.
-
Not sure cannot find any UK listings for them, though they seem to be LTD editions, the US RRP price is $999
-
anyone seen these yet, i normally overlook ibanez as they don't make many lefties, but these caught my eye

Ibanez SR506

i am pretty sure, the SR505LH and SR506LH are only available in the US, the only place i can think of in the UK is HERE, But Thomann is prob your best choice, the GBP price is underneath the Euro one.
