Hi! I have for sale my Squier P Bass in black with a rosewood neck.

The guitar has the following modifications -
Black pearloid scrachplate (£25).
Chrome bridge and pickup covers (£30).
Black thumb rest (£10).
New tuners (£25).

It also has a silver Fender logo decal applied to the head.
The guitars electrics are in excellent condition.

The body is in fair condition -
Light buckle rash
Small chip to the paintwork on the side, directly above the pickup
A longer scratch around the side of the body near the input jack.

However, the main problem is a hairline crack (approx 1mm wide),
in the face of the head only (it does not go through to the back of the head), between the E and A string tuners.
I did this when putting on the ferrules for the replacement tuners.
This damage does not appear to affect the playability of the guitar.

For this reason I'm looking for just £50.
I paid £70 for it, without the added extras, approx 12months ago from ebay.

This would be ideal for someone who wanted a cheap body for a project, with all the extra's included.

Collection only with cash on collection.
I live in the Oldham/Rochdale area, but would be willing to meet up around the M60 / M62 / M61 areas.
If you're interested give me a bell on 07928944489.

Thanks
Ian

I've just edited this post because I really only want local collection with cash.
Thanks, Ian.

Hi!
A few people have asked for pics of the split in the headstock.
Here it is -

As you can see, its between the E&A string tuners, but it does actually go slightly past the A tuner by a couple of mm.
I reckon it could be filled with wood filler and then re-laquered to hide it.
This pic also shows the replacement 'Fender' decal. There is another decal with 'contoured body' on the end of the head.

I've also taken a picture of the back of the head...this shows the 'vintage style' tuners and the fact that the split doesn't go all the way through -

I've had a couple of requests to post it, but the first person to come and collect it will get it!!
....did I mention that I'll throw in a pair of Dunlop strap locks as well?.....
