tombboy Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Did a recording session yesterday, with the intention of just getting a decent sound out of Darren's new kit. However, the moment Martin said "I've been working on this little ditty", that went out the window. Please excuse the 'earthiness' of the drums and bass.... it was a one take job with some vocal thrown over the top, and it's a long way from being mixed and mastered properly. Need to overdub a solo and add backing vocals etc. Although, I'm quite pleased with the vocal... it's more 'out front' than our previous efforts. Any feedback would be nice. For the record... Fender P straight into the board purely as a backing guide.... amped bass to follow in another session.
