Now don't be fooled by the name, this guitar was made before Encore started producing plywood Les Pauls that fall apart. I saw this in my local shop and fell in love with it. I'm only the second owner despite its age, the previous owner had kept it in a case under his bed for all its time under his ownership, leaving it in pristine condition. The walnut finish looks amazing and the guitar has a good weight to it due to the solid build. I'm a big fan of clean tones so I put a Dimarzio EJ Custom in the neck, produces lovely balanced sparkly cleans. This pickup will be left in the guitar for the buyer I bought this for £225 and then bought the pickup for $109 in NYC and had it installed back in the UK with a full set-up I'm looking for £200 posted anywhere in the UK, with a deluxe padded gigbag.
