iconic Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 (edited) Ahh, Imagination some puka tunes, what a great 1st album, but I never seem to see the bassist, Ashley Ingram, play anything but a fretless...although it always seem to sound very synthbass? Possibly one those guys who is a real talented guy blighted by Lyrca Campness...seems to play a lot of instruments..I can't play one! SJA Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 I'm pretty sure nearly all the Imagination basslines were done on synth- the slides all sound like pitch bend moves or portamento slides between notes.
