jazzbob Posted November 6, 2007 Share Posted November 6, 2007 Hi, I just had some new SCN 'noiseless' pickups put in a Fender Jazz Bass. They sound great but they have not shifted the earthing/static noise I get as soon as I am not touching the strings, bridge or control plate - then it pretty much goes completely. How do i go about testing if there is some dodgy earth connection that didnt show up even when the pickups were replaced? I should add that when I played the guitar through an EBS amp at the shop after getting the pickups installed no noise! When I plugged into my nearly new Fender Bassman 250, full static attack...
