paganskins Posted March 10, 2010 Author Share Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) EDIT: Not faulty I'm just inept at stripping wires The pickups and earth aren't soldered in but rather go into grub screw type connections just like in a three pin plug, I hadn't stripped one wire very well which was shorting and causing the intermittent fault.
