nobodysprefect Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 I've decided my Roscoe needs a new preamp - the Aguilar does the Aguilar thing which it did did in the two basses I've owned previously that were equipped with it. I've determined the Glockenklang preamp is my best bet: either it delivers in which case I'm a happy camper, or I'll switch out the Nordstrands for Classic Barts, which is what I had in the white SKB I sold to that swede last year - a killer combo. I suspect the Nordstrand Big Splits + the Aggie are the reason this bass changed hands a few times before ending up with me. I note, however, that not many Glockenklang European distributors carry the pre-amp in stock!
