PauBass Posted February 9, 2010 Share Posted February 9, 2010 I've just adquired a Mese 400+, I collected it yesterday eveningg, and I've just tried for the first time. I've come accross afew things that I don't really know if they are usual/nomal on this amps. here we go: - When I turn the amp on from Standby, with master and volume all the way down, I get this pop/rattly noise, a bit loud, and same thing happens when going into stanby mode. This doesn't happen at all with my Ampeg SVT head. - I've notice there is a big difference in volume between channel 1 and 2. With the Master at 5 and the Volume on 4, channel 2 is twice as loud as channel one, big difference in volume, with channel one the amp doensn't get that loud even if you go up to 10. - One of the valve lights up less than the rest of them.
