Is there such a pedal that allows say.. a guitar to turn into a bass? lol I no there are pedals around that put a sub octive behind a note put say your playing a chord I found it gets lost and is not very clear? really I want something to play under the guitar part?? Tim[/quote] Just saw your question and yes indeed the pedal to have is the Able Bassmaker. I have been using this for hundreds of gigs now and it is fundamental to our sound now. The Bassmaker reproduces ONLY the lowest note that you are playing as a bass guitar sound, be it single note playing or chords. It does this very cleanly with absolutely no cross-over into the direct guitar output. With practice you can sound like two completely separate instruments. I have tried to do this with the Electro Harmonix Pedal but it just can't handle it. Unfortunately, I can no longer find any trace of the guy who made these in Wales and am down to my last spare.
